Ooooh Liberty.. Lib or Libby for short... I love it!  :biggrinthumb:

I'm a (somewhat) closed book most of the time. Don't know why. I don't know what kind of impression people have of me and I'm not sure I want to. That's none of my biz. If anybody talks behind my back please don't tell me about it. I don't care and I don't need to know. I have always been somewhat reserved both in here and in a group so I'm sure I might come off to some as stand-offish. I'm not a social butterfly and I don't go to bars much. Although I love a good conversation.. I could bend your ear all night. I am probably much deeper than most think.. (again I don't know) .. but I can get lost in my thoughts quite often in the middle of a conversation and not hear a word somebody just said. I am not the life of a party.. I'm the one sitting in the corner talking to one person intently. In "here" I guess I tend to hide my true self behind stupid humor.  LOL  I don't like gossip and I don't chat online other than in a few select forums. I don't open my messenger ever anymore. But on the other hand.. I love people and care deeply about the people in my life. I would do almost anything for any one of them. Once you are a close friend of mine you won't escape easily.   I can tie a good knot!   I get hurt easily which is probably why I keep that armor around me. I don't think I portray a false impression of who I am... I just tend to joke around mostly.  I am very warm and friendly. If I passed you on the street I would probably smile and say hi!  :D

Sheeesh! For a closed book I sure opened up alot!  LOL

Wow, a thoughtful, cautious person who actually thinks before they speak or post! What a novel idea! Sounds good to me.   LOL

What does THAT mean Odie? Like I don't do that too?

I always think before I type.

Of course, I end up sometimes thinking it's wrong, and the little angel on my left shoulder says "Don't do it"...... but the little devil on my right shoulder says "Say it anyways"...... and the little devil usually always wins.

Big mouth now, guilt trip later...... Tell me what's wrong with that lifestyle? NoThInG. It suits me just fine.

So...... there. (kinda ran out of gutsy stuff to say, I burnt myself out earlier)

I know I've already posted to this thread but I just realized something I didn't hink of earlier.

The way I respond in these threads is not all of me. It is actually a part of me. It is the part that seems to fill the nich available to me. My little space in the scheme of KS.

This is the part of my personality that I am least ashamed of.

NO, I'm not trying to be deep. I just had this thought and needed to submit it. I do like to express myself even if I leave out parts so that my posts are easier to read. I try to get my point accross without beeting anyone over the head with it. If it comes accross, fine; if not, maybe it's not such an important point for me to make after all. It matters to me, and that is all I have.

I bet most women on this site, like Charmin and like me, get along with women who get along with men better than women. Does that make sense?

I spent my time on the tupperware circuit. Not my thing, sorry. I like men better. They do not fit as well in the fridge, it is true, but still...

Now don't go calling names.

Am I not allowed to have bad days too? Everyone else does. Somebody ticked me off... and it's not wanting to go away.

What to do about it? Maybe start a thread flaming them?

Oops, better whisper that....

Better just to let it fly...... we have an edit button here, I can use that later if I need to.  :D

That makes sense.  For some reason I get along better with women who get along better with men.  What did I just say?  I guess that made sense.   LOL   The girly girl type always seems kind of phony to me.

Haha.........Exactly Gigi. I understood you perfectly.

Men are better friends. I'm still trying to figure out who's the "better partner" though.... haven't tried all that yet. But, men are just NO GOOD in the commitment department either. They either wanna drop you like a hot potato, or own you like a dog. I can drink beer and burp with men, and work on cars, and go fishing, and arm wrestle (though....I usually lose, lolllll) ... and have a great time. But the biggest mistake I ever made was ever caring for one as more than a friend. *lesson learned*

Ah gawd, don't listen to me. I'm a big biotch today...... but I hear what you're saying.

Sorry, let me be more specific.

There is a small place for me here at karaoke scene. It does not allow for all of my personality but it does allow me to vent a little and to trade thoughts with people.

If I say something that doesn't seem to be noticed, the fact is that it was. I will leave it at that unless I messed-up when I tried to say it the first time.

It's a simple thought but it is so hard to explain. I am sensitive but I try not to let it get the better of me. I think before I speak or post but online I let myself post anyway as long as no harm is done.

I hope that helped. :)

THANK YOU......

Every time I say "girlie girl" someone raises their kittie claws at me. ( :puke: )

I can't stand fakeness.

Of course the non-girly girl types are always better at things like plumbing and changing spark plugs than I am so I do feel a little intimidated.  But heck, as long as somebody knows how to do these things well......  LOL

I get along with men better... until I do something "manly" BETTER Than they can. Last week, my neighbor came home with a new car. Well, a new used car. a 91 Pathfinder....He raved about what a good deal it was, and how it was in perfect shape.. so, I asked if he minded if I had a look... I slid under, (easy for me, hard for him, he is a biiiig guy), and low and behold, it needed all new fuel lines, brake lines, a new gas tank, there were holes through the floor, the rockers were completely rotten through, and the list goes on and on... i mean... there was gas LEAKING, onto the drive.. what a freaking idiot. And he thought it would be a freaking breeze to get it safetied. Fricking idiot. Anyways.. he didn't talk to me for a long time (He took the car in to have SOME work done on it... apparently he couldn't do it himself?).... until he came over to ask me to show him how to bleed the brakes, etc etc... and i SUCK at cars.. i mean, i drive my father NUTS, at what a sissy i am. Everyone always screw the oil filter on too tight for me :(

I mean... seriously, the man (the neighbor) doesnt even own TOOLS... so, i lent him my pretty pink screwdriver;) Lol. That is one i ALWAYS get back:)

Anyways, I do NOT get a long with girly girls.. you know... the paris hilton, idiot ,hair flipping, lip biting,  poodle toting nitwits. Yeah, we dont get along.. yet, my friggin' male friends ALWAYS DATE THEM... and then, expect me to be "friendly" to them... yeah, what the HELL am i going to TALK to them about?! Where to get a good manicure?! I mean, seriously now.

What makes me happy, is that Justy ALSO hates "girly-girl" types too, and after spending an evening with one of his guy friends new chicks, always says to me "Gawd, I am so lucky to have you". Awww... how cute. Well, if he DIDN"T say it, I would kick his (@$%&#!) while we watched UFC:)

Ok, i am done rambling around here... see you all some other year.
