Let's see, maybe I should let Don be the judge of me. Don, is this the real me?

In real life:

*I think I wear emotions on my sleeve (not my heart, just my emotions, cause I
don't have one of those beating, fluttery little things, don't need one)

*I can go from nice girl to biotch.... in the blink of an eye (sorry, but it's true) And
 my biotch side is NOT very pleasant to be around. (Don... no comment on this one)

*Most of the time I'm just a person who likes to have fun, joke around with friends,
 and play music or sing every opportunity I get (and...... I'm not the type to really  
 CARE what so-n-so thinks about my style of playing and/or singing...... I do it my
 way, and they can like it or not listen)

* I think I'm true to myself most of all, atleast, I'm learning to be. And I want to be.
 If people don't accept me as I am, then they can hit the road without looking back,
 cause I don't have time for that drama crap. Life is too short and precious to waste
 on simple minded, hateful people.

* I'm not the smartest one in the crowd, but nor am I the stupidest. (as some would
  like to make me think) Most of my smarts come from lessons learned, not from
  books or computers. And to me, that's the kind of smarts you need most anyhow.

* To sum me up, if you were at a karaoke joint, and there was a girl in the bar
  having a great time, being way too loud and crazy, dancing around the floor on
  every fast song acting like a drunken eejit, standing on bar chairs singing like an
  eejit, having a good time with everyone.... then hitting her man upside the
  head with a beer bottle thirty seconds later
  because he's getting out of line........ that would be me.

 And in real life, outside of bars....... minus the alcohol & replace beer bottle with
 something else that can be thrown at a man (anything solid and semi-heavy works
 just fine, lets see, last week..... it was a brick)...... and that would still be me.

Really, for all my twisted way of saying things today.... (dang it, SOMEbody must have blinked an eye, haha, so excuse my mood).... I'm pretty sure that the person you see here is the real me.

I'm sensing a bit of a threat here!     Don't worry about a thing.  The videos aren't going anywhere.  But they are proof of some of your statements for sure.  No scenes of Lonnie getting hit by your bottle though.  LOL

So, nope, gotta lay off the karaoke nights and the alcohol, and all that fun stuff that makes me feel better. Can't take the chance of having to pack up and head to the hospital being 3 sheets you know. God knows you-know-who thinks it's all fine and dandy though. Nevermind, I'll tell ya that story in private.

I told her..... she HAS to go today. About 8 or 9 o'clock should be fine, then baby can appear anytime after midnight. Just so long as my first grandbaby is a firecracker. hahahaha...... You know, it it's a girl, they're naming her *Liberty*.... so that would be pretty fitting being born on the 4th.

I'm a (somewhat) closed book most of the time. Don't know why. I don't know what kind of impression people have of me and I'm not sure I want to. That's none of my biz. If anybody talks behind my back please don't tell me about it. I don't care and I don't need to know. I have always been somewhat reserved both in here and in a group so I'm sure I might come off to some as stand-offish. I'm not a social butterfly and I don't go to bars much. Although I love a good conversation.. I could bend your ear all night. I am probably much deeper than most think.. (again I don't know) .. but I can get lost in my thoughts quite often in the middle of a conversation and not hear a word somebody just said. I am not the life of a party.. I'm the one sitting in the corner talking to one person intently. In "here" I guess I tend to hide my true self behind stupid humor.  LOL  I don't like gossip and I don't chat online other than in a few select forums. I don't open my messenger ever anymore. But on the other hand.. I love people and care deeply about the people in my life. I would do almost anything for any one of them. Once you are a close friend of mine you won't escape easily.  :no: I can tie a good knot!  :wink: I get hurt easily which is probably why I keep that armor around me. I don't think I portray a false impression of who I am... I just tend to joke around mostly.  I am very warm and friendly. If I passed you on the street I would probably smile and say hi!  :D  :wave:

I know, I just love that name. And a granddaughter...... would be way too much fun. But, so will a grandson. Heck, I wish she was having twins. I always wanted twins.

I think since I was a youngster I've endeavored to be as unique as possible with my interests without following the rest of the crowd or being disengenuous--I do the things I like, which in some way is  blessing and curse--I feel the odd man out in social situations sometimes.  I'm a romantic at heart and I think this reflects in my attitude and demeanor in public--I really do try to brighten people's days in some way, shape or form because I'd like other people to perhaps do the same for others.  As a gay male, there was a period of my life in my teens and early 20s where I was very self-conscious about how I came across to people and was a bit more than guarded. Today, I don't care--what you see is what you get!  It works for me.

I do have some difficulty at times accepting people who seemingly role-play their lives (at least in public)--it's such a thin veneer and rather disheartening.  

All this introspective talk makes me want to have a local cable channel access show all of a sudden!

Dang! Some of you guys are all serious-like here! Okay, here goes...

Around friends I can be wacky but I get shy sometimes in a crowd. I can speak fluent innuendo and double entendre but when I look at some of my posts here, I realize I am pretty subdued when I chat.

I abhor violence and even arguments. I like to treat people with respect, and all too frequently I forget that they won't necessarily treat me the same way. But I would rather get my feelings hurt than treat people any other way. There is good-natured teasing and there is flat-out mean teasing, and I love one and hate the other. You know, when someone says something mean, but in a teasing tone of voice, and you just know they actually mean every word they say. I hate that! (note: I see good-natured teasing here so I feel right at home.)

Chuck of course sees me at my worst, probably more than he sees me at my best, I hate to say. I can be moody and a bit of a princess. Okay, a whole lot a princess! But even when I get in one of those moods and try to be a real b-witch, apparently I am no good at it.

So...is this the real me you see here? You tell me, I don't know.
