This is neat, FINALLY they have increased detail on the satelite imaging of where I live, before it was just a blur.
That's right, I live on the base, and you can even see the cars in my neighbors yard:) If You scroll around you can see the entrance to the hole(which is a three story building around 200 metres undergound) Part of NORAD. Pretty cool to go on a tour of, you take this bus ride that seems to take forver.. anyways, I am babbling.

(Now you can all stalk me to your hearts content:) (ok, i am bored:)

I love playing with those maps. I can get lost on Google Earth.. I love to zip from one persons house to mine. I'd love to drop in on ya and share a beer... I'm in central California today and it's HOT!
I looked up my house on that map and it looks like a reeeealllly old photo... still has the old bushes I ripped out almost 3 years ago! I'm babbling too... everyone is in the family room watching Wimbledon... that will keep them busy for awhile while I play online!

Here is where we are singing karaoke tonight in Calgary. A hotel pub called Boom Town with our buddy Special "K" hosting.
What would you like me to sing for you Gilly?

Where in Central Valley are you at? Fresno? Bakersfield? I know it can get amazingly hot in Central Valley. I used to visit Fresno all the time since my ex who lived there never wanted to drive. I used to drive 4 hours each way every other weekend. It was a trek and would never have survived without air conditioning.

Its free and its fun to see the houses you grew up in that cost 12K back then going for 300K today..

Hi Eben! I'm in Visalia. Somewhere between Bakersfield and Fresno. It's been averaging between 106 and 108 in the daytime and stays in the mid 80's at night. Luckily the air conditioning is working ok. My parents are both from the Visalia area but moved to Orange County when I was a baby after my dad was promoted to a Long Beach office. They returned here to Visalia after my dad retired from the Souther California Edison Co. and left me in Orange County. I had married by that time. My older brother and his family moved here (to Visalia) shortly after they did. I have considered moving here but I prefer the milder weather. It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive from where I live so it's not so bad. We try and visit here about once a month. I have also considered moving to Oregon where both my sister and my other brother have landed with their families. I am the only sibling in the family left in Southern California. Only problem now is I don't want to move too far from my 25 year old daughter who is firmly planted in Orange County.. Oy!

The picture of my house shows the F-150 pickup I used to own. I miss that truck but I don't miss the 14 mpg.
