Now I don't want to get into any type of political debate concerning current affairs.
But I for one will be starting all of my shows this weekend with the
Star Spangled Banner in celebration of Independence Day.
I have always had great respect for our soldiers and anyone who has made sacrfices for our freedom.  So let's not forget that yes it is a holiday, but for Americans, it's one of the most important.

James, I think that's a great idea.  If I could sing the national anthem without butchering it, I would do that. But since that's what would happen, I'm gonna do either Travellin' Soldier or Come Home Soon. My dad served in Vietnam and my sister is in the Navy right now so I'm all about lovin' our troops (regardless of my opinions on the war in Iraq).

I don't think Canada, and the other countries will go along with this
