To everyone, if it was deleted because I mentioned a certain user's name, then I am truly sorry.

I really enjoyed reading his (Keith's) thoughts on subjects and seeing quips. I hate to see him go.

I guess I should find another website too. Man, I hope I don't get this thread deleted too. I'm trying to watch my Ps and Qs, I sure hope I didn't screw-up.

We were considering buying a karaoke club, which we are still thinking about doing. We were going to advertise on this website.

I am looking at KS and a few other websites to consider where to advertise my own businness.

The things I am looking for are professional look and feel of the website and mostly are the customers really happy with their experience?

OK, I mean it this time. I am actually going to go do stuff now. It took me a while to close all of my conversations besides the forums here.

If this thread is still here when I get back I will be surprised.

I need to check out the reviews for this website still. I know a lot of people never write a review until they have something bad to say so I will be looking for the details of all the reviews.

I don't mean to sound negative, I just want to put my little bit of advertising budget where it will do the most good. I may even go with competing websites. We'll see.

I read his goodbye post when it was first posted. I wasn't sure if he was joking or not. I thought I would wait for people to reply to see what was going on. When
I came back it was gone. I'm sad.

You know what? Maybe I should just shut up. But you all know me well enough to know I can't do that.

And maybe now this thread will get yanked down, but maybe it will be my fault.

Everybody here (most everybody) gripes about the fluff on the showcase, and how everybody just copycats what other's say, and nobody is honest, and they only say nice things because so & so is well liked, yada yada. Well, what the HELL do you think is happening here, if not the same thing?

Keith is liked, because Keith makes alot of racket here. And I'm not running him down, everybody knows I laugh and joke with Keith all the time. And, after starting to talk to Keith in PM and email, rather than here...... I got to know a bit of a different side of him. He is a very nice, caring person. (when not blowing smoke in a public forum)

I also know Allstar, but I've known him quite a bit longer. Everybody is well aware that he got the tag of KS A$$hole long ago with some of his wise crack remarks to people. He's also a very nice person, just likes to...... be an A$$ on occasion here in the forums.

Throw those 2 guys together in a public forum, add in the fact that they are as opposite personality wise as day and night, and the fact that they just don't seem to care for one another.... and you're bound to have words flung between them sooner or later.

For those who were NOT here to read it, I'm gonna tell it like it was, cause I was here all day yesterday, and read it all right up to the last post before the thread was yanked.

Keith had a thread with links to pics of his horses, and his wife, he told a story of finding a hole someone (wifie's ex maybe) dug in his pasture, to maybe trip up his horse and make it break a leg.
Allstar came into the thread and commented "I don't like you, and you hate my guts, but nobody should do something like that to harm an animal"..... don't quote me, but that's pretty dang close to the exact comment anyhow.

Keith slammed him as an answer. Now, I'm not calling Tony a good guy (cause, uh, he's not most of the time).... but that was an honestly sincere sounding comment, and Keith used it to start a big argument about WHY they don't like each other. He threw out accusations, and made some pretty rude insinuations that he had no right saying here anyhow...... and things go carried away. From there on out, the whole thread was pretty danged childish- on both of their parts. (and I don't care if that makes either of ya mad.... I'm a member here too... and I'm allowed to give my opinions)

Point is... Tony is getting flamed now because the thread was yanked. It should have been, there were some pretty stupid things said in there by Keith. You don't start making false accusations about personal issues for the KS world to read like that and not expect the person on the recieving end to get the thread yanked down. Wether Tony did or not, I dunno, but I will tell you...... I, personally, asked for the thread to be removed. And Keith knows why. I had eyebrows raised at ME for some of the things Keith was saying, which were stupid and unfounded.

Keith started a "Goodbye to all" thread, and I really can't say I understand why that one got yanked. True, AtM brought up the Allstar issue, maybe they thought it would start the whole thing over. And, Keith WAS biotching about the mods of the site in his opener anyhow. (I'm sure some of you have it pasted in note pad....)

Now this thread. And Jian, I'm sorry, I like you and consider you a friend. But this "monkey see-monkey do" shiyit is WORSE than it is in the showcase, and this thread is just another opening to bash somebody. Everybody is gonna pop in here and say their piece against someone who wasn't entirely the fault of the first thread being yanked, and I don't think may have even read the "goodbye" thread.

Keith said some ugly things that didn't need to be posted here, if I were a Mod, it would've been taken down long before it was. But this carrying on bullshit is just that.... a bunch of bullshit. Keith has friends here, Allstar has friends here.... heck I (was) a friend of both, but now have been told a firm "get the hell out of my life" from Keith, so I guess not anymore. But so be it.

Anyone who doesn't know the full story, and didn't read it all, needs to not jump to conclusions about who's the good guy and who's the bad guy. I think both acted like a couple of children, and a bigger man would have said "Okay, let's drop it". And truthfully, Tony kinda did that with his FIRST post in there.

And go ahead and say all the rotten crap you want to me or about me, I'm beginning to really not care. We all talk about the bad places where adults go on the net and pose as children, I swear..... sometimes I think this place has a bunch of children typing in it, posing as adults.

And I'm NOT choosing sides, or anything stupidly childish like that, I'm just telling it like it REALLY was in that thread.

Thank you Charmin...I know I have seen a few threads get out of hand before with some people and they actually offended me to see adults acting so childish...I can say I have reported a couple of threads that were pulled.   (not in the last couple of months) Some time things just have to be stopped by the mods sometimes.....

I will miss Keith as I am very fond of him and his funny stories...But such is life and he needs to do what he needs to, to make himself happy.....I don't know too much about allstar but I do know he has never offended me....I don't have any problems with him....And maybe I will get to know him better in the future...Who knows....

You know what, I sure didn't mean anything bad about what you said. (gawd... what is your first name? James?....It irks the hell out of me that I don't know it, and I know I've seen it posted.... I just haven't talked to you much)

It's just this place...... is an awesome place to hang out and meet people, and share music ideas and all that. I've belonged to alot of different sites, but none has ever been like this one. I've really met some people I will consider friends the rest of my life, wether I actually ever meet them or not. (which... I hope I do)

But, all this childish crum that goes on here gets SO out of control sometimes, I truly feel sorry for the mods. And I've done it too. (matter of fact,  :oops: , just a couple days ago, with a couple different people) But, I chose to let it fade out, it was getting ugly. If I feel the need to call them names and insult their spouses, I'll do it in private I guess. I had to just put myself in check.... and, I don't care who says what.... it wasn't my fault anyhow.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if people came here, read threads, and chose never to come back or join. The arguing is bad, has gotten worse than Keith & Tony before, and it's just.... stupid. And threads are started as a means to pit one person against the other.  And that's not the only thing... I am WAY too guilty here too.... the sexual innuendos get carried much too far. There used to be some members here with kids, but not now. And I'm sure that's why. I mean, if we want to have cyber sex, we can all use MSN. We should all make an attempt to keep this place a bit more clean, and fun. Sometimes.... the flirting stuff can even cause arguments between members. Not to mention how some of our spouses....  ...... would probably ring our necks if they read what we wrote here. (yes.... mine would probably beat me black and blue, but fortunately..... he doesn't do computers at all) And, that's a pretty sorry admission by me, but it's true. I need to mellow down, and I plan on it. And I think I have already. (somewhat.... old habits die hard tho)

Anyways, back to your post about advertising here...... I know what you mean. But it's too bad it's that way, cause this site has alot to offer. If all of us "members" could behave and control our sex drives and our attitudes.  LOL

But, it all sounds like normal stuff that always happens on forums, and such. Life online, is not normal...Most people's personalities get terribly concentrated and extreme, and often come out the wrong way. trust me on this.... I find it easier to simply not bother getting insulted online.. but then again, you all aren't real to me... i can turn off the computer whenever I want.. now, my NEIGHBORS on the other hand, i am currently dripping gasoline around their house, and looking for some matches.... seriously, Why can i NEVER find a LIGHT when i NEED ONE! Getting older, even older than Isis, OMG, it becomes a little easier every day for me to step back and look at the big picture. That is what I should have done here.

And yes, it is all normal for online, but we all come here and meet people, and have fun. It's not "life like", but it IS part of our lives.... and I get sick of seeing people argue, then someone leaves.... too many members have left over dumb stuff.
