You folks are gonna hate me for saying this but I'll bet it's a girl. They love to creat drama even before they are born. The baby even has everyone witing for it including it's soon to be gramma. LOL

~Git a rope~
Muahahaha....
I'd love a grand daughter first, I just think she's having a boy.
But if it was a little girl, it would surely be up to me, as the oh-so-wise gramma, to teach her all the things she needs to know about handling the lesser sex of the human race. So she could get an early start on it, and be all toughened up for men before she gets to the age to start actually thinking she likes, or heaven forbid, loves one of them.
She would need to be warned, and taught to have pity on the poor little guys....and I'd teach her to respect the fact that they can't help the way they are.... and that she needs to always remember to let them think they are tougher, so they wont whine.... And I'd make sure she got that "twisting around her little finger" thing downpat.... Oh yeah, I'd have wisest little grand daughter on the planet, cause I'd make sure of it.
(lord help us all, hopefully it will be a boy, we surely don't need a "mini me" running around, hahahahaha)
And...... what "drama" are you talking about? You want to see drama, go read the threads the MEN post here. LOL Women are usually the peace keepers, not the creaters of the drama. (take a couple threads yesterday for instance...) And of course we make men wait, I would teach a grand daughter that too. Men need to be taught a bit of patience.

Either way it sounds like you've got your work cut out for you.
I wish I had grandbabies to spoil and send home to their momma.

But, without naming all the little birthing technical details, , as of the time we left last night, she's ready to go at any moment. So.... :drums: .... Within the next few days, that face ya see in my avatar might just be the face of a real granny!! :D=?? :( =?? =?? Well, I am home this morning, rather than at work....... BECAUSE of my daughter in law. Playing the waiting game.
I'm not sure how to judge her though. I mean, I once slept through labor and had my baby exactly 45 minutes after I woke up. I slept through most all of it.
Some people though, scream "ouch" at the slightest bit of pain. So, I dunno if she's really progressing, or just being a drama queen (how rude was that of me, it's her first baby!!) ..... but the girl is a self admitted drama queen, and her mother told me she has no pain tolerance.
So, I'm sitting here recalling when I had my 4 children. Every one was the same.... when it was time for me to say "Ouch".... baby was almost here. I was literally never in labor (hard labor) over 4 hours. But I do know some women say they are in labor 12 hours-16 hours- 24 hours, etc.... and maybe I was too, but I never felt anything close to pain until I got pretty far along. So, I can't figure out if I gotta run her back to the hospital, or keep waiting. I wish..... "the ultimate sign of for sure labor" (LMAO, trying not to say anything indiscreet that would make the guys say "ewww") would happen, then we could just head up the hill to the hospital and quit second guessing everything she feels.
At the rate I'm losing sleep, and getting all agitated and stressed, I'm gonna LOOK like a gramma by the time the baby gets here. How sad it that? :(

Oh yeah, I'm sure a bumper sticker would be in order. (though.... I NEVER put them things on my bumpers, haha, window stickers- yeah)
I already ordered this cute little baby romper I found online, actually I ordered it in 2 different sizes, haha... it says... "Don't Make Me Call Grandma" . I couldn't pass it up. I'll let ya all know if she EVER decides to have this baby, I think I'm gonna go ahead and head off to work, now she's got me losing sleep AND money for crying out loud. Maybe I can get a bit of work done though before she calls me and says "I think maybe it's time". LOL We'll see. TY Milo, g/f o' mine.

Well, I don't think they'd like that. I almost started an argument with them about sending her home the other night, cause it does take us a bit to get to the hospital..... but, I didn't want to start a big fuss. Who knows, they might would call the cops and have me arrested.... and some of the first words my grandbaby would hear would be:
"Your Gramma will be here to meet you later, when she sets bail"
