Do you like the idea of Member Levels?
(Those are the little CD's below your name that increase by the number of posts that you have done.)

I kind of like them, lets me know immediately who the most active posters are.

I am not certain that I will remove them (WebMasters prerogative  :p )

But I am curious about your thoughts on them...

:p   I like the Member levels we have here on the site.  It gives me a goal to strive for.  I want to reach that "Super Member" status and then "Advanced Member" status.  But what then oh Webmaster ?  What goal do we try to reach after that?  :hehe:

yes i like them but in the just 4 fun area it should include the word,chicken

I think we need one more level.  Thats just for Big Jimmy C.  Super Chicken Clucker Meber Level.

my title should read: "CAPTAIN SUPREMO KING OF KARAOKE AND CHICKENS SUPER GIANT WIZARD AND EMPEROR OF ALL MICROPHONES AND CDGS, MEMBER" yes thats absolutely perfect!!

I personally like them especially for the new people on site.  Then they can tell whos been around for a while.  Also those that have been around the block a few bazillion times can extend a helping hand to the newbies.

I like them for new people....
Now don't take this personal, but....IMHO....
I don't see how jokes about chickens, qualifies you to be an expert about anything....
except maybe...... chicken jokes!!! :
  Personally, reading all the humor is fun, but some people, I included, don't have that much time to spend writing posts to a discussion forum. I like reading them, and responding when I can, but just because I'm not able to spend an hour a day on this forum (come on, I know some of you do, or even more) makes me any less of an expert in this field, than the guy with 200 posts. I've seen people on these forums shoot right by me in the number of posts, and not really offer any enlightenment to anyone.
So beyond say, a full member status, is really illrevelant to me.
  So Big Jimmy, Aaron, and the rest of you chicken people out  there, I hope I'm not ruffling your feathers (Oh my god!, now I'm doing it)! The chicken jokes are just an easy target! I know you'se people offer lots of good input to new people, and I learned a lot in the brief period I've been hanging out here, from you and others! :up: But counting all the useless dribble towards a persons so called "experience rating" is really a little far fetched....

I don't really know if I like them or not. I hav'nt been around long enough to even think about it much........ except for today. But in a few I'll be off to my club to do what I do best. Make people shine with those 2 awesome words..............

Yes, I like membership levels. Some of my post have been quick comments, but others have required considerable thought. If a member makes considerable contributions, then he should get credit for it, and for the loyalty to this site that he has demonstrated.
