I have an Epiphany. It's construction is as good as the Gibson, haven't run a head-to-head regarding the Pickups so I don't really know... I fear I've been poisoned by the droves that say, "Dude, remove those god awful stock PU's, and drop in a Duncan classic 57 and JB...".. I don't know what's "fad swapping" with aftermarket PU's, as opposed to what's actually an upgrade... I wonder how many that swap PU's often do.. It's what someone else did, so my guitar can't sound good with the stock PU's either... They often believe...
(but at least I stayed on topic this time)
OK, can I go now ? I'm tired.... Zzzzzzzz

I had an epiphany once. I went to the doctor and he cured it. All is well now.

I actually had an epiphany today for the first time... I was not listening to music... but I was eating potato chips. One of the chips was oddly shaped...... it sort of resembled a friend of mine whom I haven't seen in awhile. And I immediately thought to myself.... I need some dip!

Those of us who are from MINNESOTA and are still Vikings fans are wondering what karaoke might be doing to your brain. You and Ricky Williams been smoking da reefer too long. Yo peanut head is writing checks that your peanut wallet can't cash.
Don't diss the Vikes, man! It's practically against the law!

I did have an epiphany triggered by a song. The funny part is that is was while I was singing.
Epiphanies can be a little too distracting when singing.

Epiphanies are distracting no matter WHEN you have 'em...which is why I try not to epiphanize and drive

I have ephiphanies all the time when I'm writing in here. I suddenly say to myself "what the hell did I just write?". Then, "holy crap, am I possessed by a moron?" Then I see the world in a whole new light, the clouds clear from my head, I take a step back from my PC and I say to myself in a booming voice, "Jeff, your an idiot!" "Now go look at pornography for a while." (Not really) That doesn't really happen. -or not as far as you know anyway-
I really did have an epiphany while I was singing once though. I had been called up and had just started singing "This used to be my playground" by Madonna (or not) and I had this epiphany. It hit me hard and suddenly. I said to myself, "Did I leave my lights on?"

you know... I think people didn't really get the point of what I was saying.
I try and avoid epiphanies too.. but this month I have been thinking harder than I ever have... my head hurts now

Yes, I was attending a John Lennon Memorial concert in 1992 when I heard "If I Fell"
being played. I kept looking at the woman standing next to me whom I had never seen before that day. Well, two years later to the day we were married. It didn't last foreve. Still when I hear that song it reminds me of a day that changed the course a bit.

Actually... I think epiphanies are a good thing! They are those things that make ya go AH HA! In all seriousness I HAVE had a year full of them this past year.. no song involved. But that's boring to write here.... but YES.. I have had epiphanies and they always leave a mark.. and they change your life.

Aww that's a sweet story. I have one song that triggers a very strong memory for me, Sail Away by David Gray. When I went to England to take a break from things when I split with my ex, I can remember sittiing at my gf's flat in Southampton and that song coming on... it's funny because it rang of freedom for me. Even now when I hear (or sing it) I get that feeling.
