You & me both Crystal. I'm like a freakin' wooden Indian with moving lips. haha Well, maybe not so bad anymore, I have started breaking out of my shell, just because I know this crowd so well.

Odie decided to bring his camcorder saturday night, since it was the birthday party for the KJ's girlfriend. And danged if he didn't move ALL the way up to the front & have his little camcorder light shining in my face every time I sang. And I ended up maybe having a few too many shots that night anyways (birthday party, they made me).... So lord only knows what I look like in the video. But you can bet your fanny I would never post a clip of me singing in a million years. Even if it was all perfectly normal, I don't like the way I look when I sing. I've had enough photos and videos taken at family gatherings to learn that.  LOL

Lisa, you are SO much braver than I am. I couldn't even sing if I had my cam running on my face, I'd start laughing most likely. (loved you on that song though, that was a good one for you)  :wave:

In my case, #1 would be along the lines of being too technically inept to figure out how to get the beta cassette tape of me typing online and slurping ice-cream, into the correct tray on the computer without ripping the tape or cracking something...

Yes, yes, yes, I videotape my (karaoke) performances. Why? Simple. When I’m 102 years old and have to eat out of a straw I want to watch the videos and have a good laugh (or choke, whatever the case may be).

I fully intend to watch all the videos that have been posted in this link because I get great pleasure watching karaoke as well as performing it. Maybe that’s why I like it so much. I never get board at a show. If the singer is good then I enjoy the performance. If a singer is not so good I still enjoy the effort.

I found Mytube from the previous post and actually posted one of my videos. It’s one that I already posted in Singers Showcase. The link is

Thanks for the thumbs up. Makes me feel like I’m back up on stage. I plan to post more as soon as I get my computer out of hock (just kidding, I really mean after I pay my electric bill and get the lights turn back on!)

I'm enjoying watching some of the guitarists, especially the younger one's playing "The rain song" and stuff like that. It's really an enjoyable site.  It add's even more to being around "artistic" people and stuff to this site

The last month or so I have been thinking about video taping myself doing one of my songs, and putting up the link here on KS, but I've just been too busy to fit it in.  I think it's such a *coo!* idea.   It would so neat if a bunch of people decided to do it.  It would be at least half way as good as seeing them sing live.

Speaking of live, I recently attended the KSK Fling and it so was *amazing to actually meet people who I have listened to and corresponded with online.   A total experience for me.  Some looked like their pics and some didn't.  Didn't matter to me what they looked like, though.  Talking to them in person and then actually hearing them sing live was really something.  Took my breath away at certain moments.   There were at least 25 people that attended that were from KS or KSK.  If you ever have the opportunity to attend a function like this, goooooo!  When you are all together in one big room, sharing the love of singing, it's just like One Big Happy Family.  Just a wonderful, wonderful, feeling!  (Members, from KS that I met...Sheree, Mikey, , Headstogether, Jimbuhu, Croonerman, Francis Grey, FoxyRoxy, Melly, Big Red(Donna) Tony Tiber, Menephes and I'm sure I forgot some... The others not mentioned are from KSK).    

Anyhow, so yes, I will be video taping myself singing someday in the near future to submit.  :)   ~ Cin

OH!! I just remembered something!!

I WAS videotaped singin' one time!! LMFAO!! It was for a freakin' TV show!! They came to our karaoke bar and had a Karaoke Idol show..... lord..... the show aired at like 3am or something stupid like that, so I never did see it..... THANK GOD!! I hope I didn't make the show.... and if I did, I hope nobody in the free world watched it! ! I was pretty freakin drunk tho.... so I probably didn't stand there like an idiot.... I prolly danced around like an idiot! ohhhh man...... why'd I have to remember that?
