I live nowhere near there and have no way there...or I WOULD go. I've never been to Thunder Bay either...I live a sheltered life. LOL

Yeah I saw that! Thanks so much... I loved it. I love unplugged stuff.. I have a few of those posted with my ex bf over on SS myself, with guitar though. I appreciate you posting it so I could hear. Oh and I actually only live like an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours from Detroit... nowhere NEAR Thunder Bay .

In Duluth, we used to call the Canadians "Canucks". They were a silly group. They would come down to Duluth to make trouble in the bars. I got in a fight with a Canuck standing in line to get into a bar in Superior, Wisconsin. He was picking on my friend, Mike, who was stocky but about half a foot shorter than me. I walked up and asked him to leave my friend alone and he started swinging. As it turned out I saved America by beating his (@$%!) until security ran over and grabbed me. Then everyone said the other guy started it and his bar experiance was over. The odd thing was that when I was punching him in the stomach he tried to bite the top of my head. I don't think the guy was exactly a black belt. (More of a hungry belt)
I've been up to Thunder Bay about 3 times. I saw a wild black bear on one trip. I never even saw that in Duluth. Canada is nice. Very clean, with mostly nice folks from what I remember.
Um....that's all I got to say about that.

I think if you want to get into Canada, they will fly you in all expenses paid. (But only one way) They only have a wall at the exit door of Canada. Did you ever see that movie, "Escape from Canada" with Kurt Russell?

Jeff I saw my first bear when I was 4. I grew up in Lindsay Ontario, and my parents had 100 acres up in the Haliburton Highlands (near Algonquin Park) so we went back and forth from Lindsay to Kinmount til I was 11. I live in Kitchener now, a decent sized city, and I miss up north horribly. Funny though, that you've been to Thunder Bay and I haven't LOL

I used to know guys at school who would go bear hunting with their dads. Something that rare should not be shot for someone to get their kicks. What a waste.
Those guys should have just gone to karaoke with their dads instead. They would have had a better time.

Although.... I didn't shoot bears. Just a can hanging on a pole. OH, and I once shot out my parents' van window... although I did that with my mom's pellet gun Funny you know, my parents let me have a gun at like 8, and now I hate guns.... and I agree about bear hunting Jeff. No point in killing something that's not worth eating, right? (come to think of it, why the H3LL did my parents let my 2 year old cousin around me while I was holding a bb gun??? )

It looks like you're sneaking up on Mom's cooking. Were you having something you didn't like?

Alright? Must be a relative term. My dad passed in April, and my Mom was no more than 2 weeks getting on POF and looking for a man. This was after 30+ years of badgering, name calling and just general disrespect. Actually she bought me the membership, and I appreciated it. Then she pi$$ed on my Dad's memory and we don't speak anymore. Yeah I can be a b!tch when it's called for.

Let's see, the town of Canada as someone put it is the world's second largest land mass (only Russia is larger), where when you order a beer you actually get a beer unlike the US where when you order a beer, they give you soda pop. If we do put up a wall it will be to keep Americans from accessing our medical care. So nice to go to a hospital to get treated and leaving without a bill for tens of thousands of dollars. Plus we have Crystal.
