i used to dress like stevie nicks. it wasn't intentional (or i didn't think so at the time). had a chick at the club ask me if i was a witch! :dancin:
my pick-me-up song is cabaret. when i do it late in the evening (or early morning) my favorite kj always marvels at how long and loud that last note comes out. hehheh. adrenalin, baby! LOL

"Africa"--Toto
I dunno why...it's a pretty mellow song actually, but it ALWAYS charges me up to hear it :oh yeah:

This is not a good idea since I almost never warm-up first and I'm getting my voice pretty high in the process.

I have a funny memory about that song... when I was in England, the guy I was seeing had a tendancy to want the stereo on at bedtime. Well, one night as we dozed off, Africa came on Radio Derby... he stirred and became quite irritable and went over and beat the crap out of the stereo. I still dunno what set him off but I remember having a hard time not laughing. All I was thinking was "heyyyy I like that song!!" LOL

If I'm singing it would be Walking on sunshine or Old Time Rock and Roll.
If someone else is singing I'd say Baby Got Back or Pour some Sugar on Me.

OK, You're starting to make me nervous with this Mack the Knife fixation....You've used it in to many subjects..... ..jk

That song always takes me to a peaceful place...I don't know what it is. But it ALWAYS charges me up...it's like musical caffeine or something to me.
Best example: We were on a family road trip, and I was the Navigator/Companion to Driver (my mom). I was supposed to help keep her awake. I was keeling over in the passenger seat (I was 11 or 12 I think)...Africa came on the radio, and it was like a double-shot from Starbuck's...I was wound up until we got to the campsite. I crashed for about 12 hours, but...
