Right now, I wish I could be in a band where I could play all my bass parts and do harmonies live at home in my pajamas LOL , send the live feed to the club where there is just a cardboard cutout of me on stage. I still need to be paid of course, get free drinks, but no, I won't show up just to help haul out the keyboards and PA system.

Odie, that's pretty much how you add bass and harmony to MY recordings, haha....
BTW, how did the camcordering go last night? You get it figured out?
I'm running to Moolalla (haha) for a bit, but when I get back, you can come get the MP3 recorder. I'll call ya, I gotsta get, people's waiting on me. (as usual....) :D

[quote="Steven Kaplan @ Sat Jun 24, 2006 12:59 pm"]Ah, Don't worry about it.. It'd take me at least that long to recall where my clothe's are, and remember which sock goes on which foot... even find a matching pair.. To make things easier, all my socks are the same color, powder pink... that way in case I forget which sock goes on which foot.. after figuring it out, I should be able to count the same number of Pink socks with the "L" magic marker lettering as "R"

Similarly, I never realized Robin William's brilliance as that screaming obnoxious comedian. But when he got into dramatic acting... Mrs. Doubtfire, What Dreams may Come, Good Will Hunting, etc...
I started seeing him as brilliant.

Quote: What am I to you, chopped liver?
Not at all Keith, currently, I don't practice, have no repetoir, don't even do much from beginning to end anymore.... What I do, and play back is what's chopped liver.. I haven't taken my music seriously in years :(, I have nothing I wouldn't be too ashamed of sending.. That's the truth... I have something from three years back where I was working with a pro-singer who wanted to do a few Kate Bush songs, I was just working on some accompaniment with her... The quality of that Cassette recording is so poor, the practice session is nothing I'd dare send out..It's the fact that I don't practice anymore... I've gotten lazy..
Now if I was accompanying a decent vocalist, that'd be something else...But that'd take work, and wouldn't be a solo effort. I have nothing solo I'd dare send

How do you post songs? How do you listen to songs? I went to the deal that I thought was going to be peeps singing and it was more of a radio show. I didn't hear any singing from peeps here at all. Where are the songs? (Yes, super newbie, incapable of a little reading, better to get it explained to me I guess)
-Jeffieoke
I just got my Sound Choice 8125 (Eagles) and the Sound Choice :dancin: Soundgarden discontinued songs I wanted in the mail (Yeah baby!) plus some other junk.
I sang Stone Temple Pilots at home (Big Bang Baby) 6 times in a row. I can't wait to go to karaoke this week. Yeehaw!

I really like to meet two of our local gals, Crystal and Babs. I love to listen to their voice and read their post - as for the guys there are several that I like to meet, especially Steven - some of his post are so deep, it's like he's in a well.

I don't know why I'm like that either. I'm sure a decent percentage find it annoying as all hell, and interpret it as pseudo-intellectual BS, but it's not.. I've always been a very intense person, very analytical..and I enjoy having fun, actually I should say I must have fun to keep sane, and balance out other things going on around me. Most in here aren't even aware they are setting my dark humor up.. I feed off've things people say, and so much of the time, someone unknowingly is setting up the joke, and I just go for the spike.. Since I love to get a laugh anyway I can, I take them up on the offer they weren't aware they extended. Keeps me smiling, and believe it or not, I get into my head, to get out've my head..It's a therapeutic distraction... and THAT's important to balance out other stuff going on upstairs in the Belfry tower

It's really interesting to me that so many of you seem to know eachother. Or is it just because you have all chatted so much here that you are comfortable. Do many of you actually know hwere eachother plays, and follow?

I am new to the forums really... and I only know like one person here really well, but I noticed how things work pretty quickly. I don't think there are any rules really.

For me.. I've met people here and on a few other singing sites. I never chat with anyone on MSN or any other form of chat.. Just the forums, sometimes PM's or email. I think just being around the forums and reading the posts .. one can get somewhat acquainted and meet some very interesting people.
