Looking for some good intro music for a Wedding Grand March

while I'm introducing the wedding party. Any ideas?

okay, talk to me here--never had a big wedding. the grand march? introductions? is this like the reception line after the ceremony?

you might want to take an easy way out and flatter the bride by asking her if she has any favorites she would like you to play.

Already have asked them...they don't know.

I guess the Grand March is a midwest tradition of announcing the wedding party by couple and then ending up with the bride and groom.

I've done plenty of weddings but have never had the Grand March or Entry request before.

The wedding theme is Hollywood Movies and the groom is a Star Wars nut but the theme song is not appropriate for introductions as it speeds up and slows down.

I think I will probably use the "Charoits of Fire" Theme song because it maintains a constant rythym and is kinda gets the effect I'm looking for.

I have lots of songs popping into my head but cannot put a name or artist to them as they are not songs I would normally play.

I know this isn't much help but you are the one person I would have asked this question of Flipper.

How about, "Another One Bites The Dust." :D   j/k.  I think Chariots of Fire would be fine.

i think chariots of fire sounds great! it is easily recognizeable and has good energy. of course, you could always do the music from the cantina scene in the original star wars movie.  LOL

I think I will go with the chariots of fire intro. I want it to have a little hollywood sizzle.  Introductions have already been made during the dinner hour.

Thanks for the assistance. If you have any other please post as I'm not doing this wedding for a couple of weeks.

I usually ask them what they want played, sometimes they even have the discs.
