It got some really good coaches on it. The funny thing is they totally disagree how to do it. It was worth it for me.

It might actually help open up the sinuses. It helps me some. Probably won't work for everyone though.

Quote: This mostly happens to me when I'm recording a song. Something is just not happening... it's frustrating! I'll usually just close the session and move on to something else. Or get me some ice cream..
I have that exact problem these days, Not recording, but trying to learn a new song, change a style, ANYTHING (in my case) that involves memorization, or muscle memory, I draw blanks so easily these days... I forget chord progressions, end up getting VERY frustrated, and I don't want to kick or slam anything so I go to the fridge for a quick fix of ice-cream (L-tryptophan and sugar calms me down and works like an antidepressant), then I come here and sit and yack instead of doing something that requires work... I've lost the tiny bit of self-discipline I might've almost had at one point.. Whenever something annoys me, I end up here yacking.... , (which is why I'm here so much)..HAHA

When in doubt, just turn it into a complete mockery and imbue it with as much comedy as you can. This works for me. I find lunging into a deep, unrealistic baritone on romantic ballads is very successful when things go awry.

This thread was a little tricky. I hope none of you are embarrassed by what I'm about to say. The word "song" in the OP was a metaphor. I was not in a very good mood last night when I posted this. It might be fun to figure out what the word song was inserted instead of.

For my own faith in humanity, I hope not as well.

No it is not sex. Sorry that I didn't say that sooner.
I should just say what I'm talking about. It was a post about my life. I compared it to a song that sucks.
Let's just forget the whole thing and I apologize to those who might be feeling trapped by my ambiguous metaphor.

run.....never to return to that same club again....you may want to grow a beard or mustache or die your hair to throw anyone off who may recognize you on the street............Ok, seriously? If you're in the middle of a song that's just not working for you, do your personal best to complete the song and make a mental note not to sing it again in the future.......If someone request that same song for you to sing in the future, give them a couple other options to choose from.........or, quickly change the subject and talk about the weather.....or once again, you could just run
