There are loads of sexy songs out there. Some aren't necessarily a sexy song, but that will strike some people a certain way. I think the best example of one for me would be Wicked Game by Chris Isaak. My ex boyfriend loved to hear me sing I Just Wanna Make Love to You for example... maybe it's the growl lol. What songs do you consider sexy, and why?

Oh, I can't say. It would be a dead give away for me, in regards to the post about having a crush on here.  :D  I've heard the song all my life, but now it has a whole new meaning for me.

So, I'll just go with the song that has always been mine.... before that uh, other one got sang, by uh.... somebody.

*Pour Some Sugar On Me*

Don't ask me why, but it just.... does.

And dang it all, this came up once before in a thread, and again.... I'm confused:

Are you meaning turnon, as in, you know.... turning you on? Driving ya nutso? Putting you "in the mood"?

Or, as in... a feeling like you're in love kinda turn on? (the "boring" kind) haha

Cause if it's the second option, I'd have to change my answer.  LOL

Nevermind.... Just reread your opening post, which explains it.  LOL

*Note To Self*
Don't go to Spinning Wheel until 2:30 am on a thursday night, then get home and argue with hubby until 4 am, then get up and go to work at 7 am friday morning and expect to be coherent.  LOL

Th best female singer at my bar always does "My Immortal" by Evenesence, and that really does it for me when sung well.

There also used to be this very attractive gal that sang very sultry versions of "Hey Big Spender" and "Makin Woopie," both of which are hot as hell when sang well.

Anyone who has seen "Fabulous Baker Boys" knows what I'm saying. The movie itself sucks, but at one point Michelle Phieffer sings "Makin Woopie" while sprawed out on the top of a piano in a white sequin cocktail dress. Yowwwsas!!

Hey, I had to go to my finance company in Salem yesterday, then landed at Lancaster Mall until they kicked me out at 9.  LOL  Tracee called and wanted to go out after we got home, and by the time we got there it was after 10:30..... I mentioned calling you to both Lonnie & Tracee, but I figured as late as it was, maybe you already had plans set or might be in bed.

It was fun though, he's got a whole new system in there, more speaks, and it was a great improvement over the last time, and alot more people. (well, only a handful singing, but alot dancing) And I sure got to sing alot, which always makes me happy.

Anyhow, I talked to Bobby. He told me he did do karaoke there a few fridays & saturdays, but then they called it off, cause he can make more $$ elsewhere on the weekends. He's gonna check on the Aug 17 & 18 weekend and call me, to make sure they are not booked with a live band those night at Spinning Wheel. So, atleast we'll get that sqared away. I told him I needed a for sure answer.

And thanks for the remind about Gayle's b-day. Was NOT planning on going out tomorrow night, and she'd have killed me if I forgot.  LOL

Great topic!

"You Can Leave Your Hat On" by Joe Cocker.  If you can listen to that one and have any doubt as to what's going on you might as well have 'em back up the hearse.  You're done for.

Also, "Can I Go All the Way With You" by John Prine.  I'll bet there a few closet Prine junkies on this site so you might as well go ahead and admit it.  For those of you who have not heard of John Prine, I'm sorry, you've missed a lot.

Larry

OooO I LOVE you can leave your hat on! Not familiar with the other one however... there are so many great songs out there, it's interesting to hear what other people consider sexy.

Oooh yeah "Pour some sugar on me".

I love a nice slow song with a mans deep voice - that would do it.

The guys in the bar like when I sing santa baby - I even get requests for it in the summer.  LMAO

You guys will cackle, but I remember going to the Steel Pier in Atlantic City as a youngster (they had a movie, a live show and another movie as part of the entertainment).  When I was there they featured a big band and when they started playing "Moonlight Serenade" by Glenn Miller I literally got the tingles up my spine.  It was from that day foward that I loved the big band and swing sounds.  It is actually stated in my last wishes that the original recording of this song be played at my memorial when I tip over.

No cackles here.. I can see why. I find that songs in every genre have that effect on me. It depends on the mood of the song.... as you mentioned, tingles up your spine, sometimes goosebumps. Awesome choice Michael :D
