Which hand do you use to hold the mic; if you have to hold it? there are people who are left handed but use the right hand to hold the mic, but there are some who are right handed but use the left hand for that purpose. A few use both hands.
Me I use the right hand mostly. and am right handed

I hold the mic in the right hand and the cord in my left. I never use
a mic stand unless I'm working the board - keeps my hands free.

Good lord, I woulda never thought of that........ but I guess it's always my right hand, now that you mention it. I don't know if I'd even feel comfie with it in my left hand.

Left hand. I to keep the right hand free in case a willing lass wants to snuggle up. As Judy Tenuda used to say, "It could happen!" Just because it hasn't so far don't mean nuthin'. I like to keep my options open, ya know.

I seem to be ambidextrous. It depends on the song for me. I do some slower songs sitting down with mic in either hand, some songs are swing style so I use the mic stand as a prop and lean it over like I'm dipping a woman at times. Sometimes I'm doing faster music and usually the mic stays in my left hand then.
When I'm doing Van Halen I raise the mic to low boom height so the tone sounds more like David Lee Roth.
It just depends.

Wow Chuck that is very complex and very true now that I think about it....Hmmm...The things we do't always notice until they are pointed out to us..
I only use my right hand...that is, for the mic....

i am a lefty--mic in left, cord in right. unless i am nervious, then i either switch hands or get a death grip on the mic with both hands to keep it from shaking. that happens most often on a belter that i haven't done in a while.

If I'm wrappin' the cord around my baby I hold the mic in my left hand so I can wrap faster.

I am a righty, and that's what I hold the mic with... I feel awkward doing most things with my left hand actually, guess holding a mic is the same :D

I like comfort. Although I'm ambidextrous (both hemisphere's of brain equally shot), when dealing with cord's I prefer to recreate womb type atmosphere. It usually ends up wrapped around my neck

There's yet ANOTHER term for "hard rock" ? I can't keep up with these.... Metal, Rock etc, have MORE adjectives placed in front of them than ever..... Each term creator wants to be more emphatic than the last...
