Many of us locally know Dave and have seem him plenty of times. Very few people are able to see auras though.

Dave doesn't have one.

..and what is the reason for no aura... drum roll please :drums:

He is not human.

He is not even cyborg. He is a fully self-aware, automated, and self-teaching robot. His model number is the AI-1, the first of his design. The main reason no one knows this is because his uplink is wireless. His mainframe is on a T1 line that goes to a super high bandwidth transmitter. He runs a combo of Linux and Apple. The dual OS  is why he is so organized, especially since there is absolutely no Microsoft involved anywhere in his system.

He is a brilliantly deceiving design too because they incorporated a spattering of human quirks to  throw off anyone who even begins to suspect.

The true test is if he shows-up in Pflugerville. I know he won't meet us there because his mireless connection cannot transmit or receive that far. Without his mainframe backup he is stranded and can only keep about 5 terabytes of info in his massive, nonvolitle storage, plasma drive.

I know that this has been boringly technical, it was the closest I could get to layman's terms and still explain his system.

Now I have to hide in case he was programmed to eliminate anyone who finds him out. :O

All object's have "aura's".   Blue is an easier color to spot an aura around... You need to be relaxed, and the lighting can't be harsh....  Next time you're at a bar,  sneak up behind Dave,  put a pair of blue panties over his head... and just stare at him.. You'll notice coincidentally that many others at the bar throughout the night glance at him in weird ways too, many doing double takes..  That's because his aura will be noticeable to most, even the less experienced viewer's !

I'll have to give it a try but I hope he's not a killbot.

you guys are all crazy. don't you know that if you claim to remember what you were doing in the 70s you weren't really there?

i vaguely recall a pair of hot-pink hip-hugger wide bellbottom jeans, my hand-me-down 67 cutlass supreme (karmann ghia i wish!),  and fleetwood mac. that is about it. i must have had fun, though, because i entered the 80s with a sh!# eating grin on my face.

It's interesting,  I'm not sure if I was there or not,  but I have vivid dream recollection.   Pabst  $2.69 a sixplack...  Fleischmanns Rye $5.99 a quart,  Clan McGregor 6.49 a quart, J&B Scotch $6.99 quart.  Tone in parents voices when they found out every night for at least 6 months a Cab driver was getting 16 bucks to deliver aforementioned substances to college dormatory.  Priceless !

I miss my '71 ford torina. 351 cleveland baby... vroom vroom

It was 1978, I had the fastest car on the street, I was 13 years old and couldn't "legally" drive it anywhere.
