Re-edited...trying to get it this time...
OK...the first pic would be Steve (no vocals) belting one out...
The second is Dawn (455 Rocket) and Ryan (Saturday Singer) in their duet...
They're the only pics I got that came out!

Steve very easily could've BEEN the devil if he'd had the inclination! I lost count of how many of the females in the bar I had to disappoint telling them that he was a happily married guy!

You aren't talking about the McCartney song I hope
Someone's knocking at the door, somebodies ringing a Bell, Do me a favor, and let them in ?
I wish McCartney never wrote that.... He's got a few 10's of course, "Maybe I'm amazed" is a great song, but average it in with that other "someone's knockin at my door".... and "ebony and Ivory"~~~ {I told you Paul. I'm lover, not a fighter....Little did we know) Average those songs in with McCartney's great compositions and they really do some damage..
He "Mr. Trivia", I've got something for you...
1]Which album is the following phrase spoken on ?
2]Which song follows the dialogue on aforementioned album ?
Quote: I dig a Pygmy by Charles Hawtrey and the Deaf Aids... Phase One in which Doris gets her oats
No cheating now !!

Someone's knocking at the door, somebodies ringing a Bell, Do me a favor, and let them in ? Nope...the song they're talking about is a country song from the early 80s, IIRC, sung by Terri Gibbs...called Somebody's Knockin... Somebody's knockin' Should I let him in? Lord it's the devil Would you look at him? I heard about him But I never dreamed He'd have blue eyes and blue jeansI DO know the Wings song you're talking about though...from the album Wings At The Speed Of Sound My parents had it on 8-track Steven Kaplan @ Sun Jun 11, 2006 8:34 pm wrote: He "Mr. Trivia", I've got something for you... 1]Which album is the following phrase spoken on ? 2]Which song follows the dialogue on aforementioned album ? 1. Let It Be
2. Two Of Us
Had THAT one on 8-track as a kid too.

You're not supposed to use these terms together unless you want to hurt my feelings again, my parents, 8-track.
I had an 8-track recorder when I was a teenager. I recorded Pink Floyd - The Wall onto an 8-track and played it every night, all night for about a year. It played while I slept.
hmm... This might explain my recent doctor visits and all of the therapy.

How do you think *I* feel today when hearing; Quote: "a weird material called Bakelite we found in one of the dead grandparents basements that this strange little record player that plays those round record 45 thingies my dad said he used to throw off've his college dorm balcony when he was a kid because they really flew far ! Like frisbee's.... Anyway, this weird little square plastic like heavy box is made out've this heavy stuff. It even has a top that latches, and one speaker in the front with this weird arm that automatically goes up and down, dad also said if you stacked those little frisbees on this fat round center thingy, they drop and pile up... What do I do with this old old device ?"
I think I mentioned the cop that looked at me as if I was a Martian when I used the term "Karmann Ghia" ? Well that happened 20 years ago.

WOW, I guess they still would be seen occassionally Sheree. They made solid cars with real metal back in those days LOL . Didn't they have the Porsche engine or something ? or weren't they close (in some ways to the 911 ?) This is what I mean when I mention most women even know more about cars and technical stuff than I .. I just know essentially the Porsche, and Karmann were decent Volkswagons ..But yeah, they were solid little sports cars.

My cuz Calvin who posts here from Oklahoma can verify my first car was a red convertible Karmann Ghia...and yeah it had the Porsche engine(optional).....I was 16 working as a soda jerk for a buck/hour after school and I paid 995 for it...it was one year old when I bought it....I don't know how we (me and his older sister Pam) survived that sled.....Gas was .19/gal and it held 10 gallons, so 2 bucks would fill it up for a weeks worth of fun.....And Coors was only 1 buck a 6 pack then....and there were no fat chicks back then either!

Quote: 1. Let It Be 2. Two Of Us
Had THAT one on 8-track as a kid too. That's amazing you can recall that. I know it now, in six months I won't be able to answer this correctly. I just can't retain this type trivia. I've been known to flunk the same test, same questions three consecutive times... Even having seen the correct answers both prior times. Scary, however true. I have a very preoccupied mind. I need a sheep in my stable Keith LOL Dave, this has to be a photographic memory you have. How quicky did you know the answer to this question ? were you able to hear it being said on the album, and hear the song that followed it in your head when thinking back ? Play it back like a tape ? Let's assume you last listened to the tape in the days 8-track was more common, perhaps 20-25 years back (given your age I won't say 25-30), and maybe had the album/tape on twice, (unlike vinyl days, 8 track you could go back only to specific locations, but you couldn't rewind, or put the needle back to one particular song such as that) My guess is that having heard that twice just in passing 25 years ago, stats would look something like, 95 percent of the population (having heard the tape twice, maybe even three times), wouldn't even recall ever hearing that spoken line, during that 8 second phrase it's likely few would be paying attention, and some just wouldn't be within hearing range of that phrase, so let's assume you heard that once. After hearing it once, close to 98% of the population (I'm just speculating now) wouldn't have a clue as to where they heard those words, but they'd feel that line was vaguely familiar, maybe they'd guess Shakespeare, or some old movie on TV... Maybe 1 or 2 would think, hmmm "didn't one of the Beatles make that statement, or maybe Mick Jagger?" Out've 100 folks, I don't even know if it's likely that even 1% would know that that spoken line was an interlude, and what the following song (they heard once at 6-10 perhaps another time subconsciously) was Let it be Album, and followed by "Two of Us", unless they had a photographic memory that was triggered easily by associated stimuli. Almost nobody without a VERY rare gift has a mind that acutely recalls such specific detail in such an organized manner. Because of my age, I'd have to say that from 14-20 I heard that album, AND those lyrics at least 50-75 times, since that time, perhaps three times (and that would've been in the last 5 years).... and I would not be able to tell you (after discussing this) in 1/2 a year whether or not it was on the McCartney Album, Sgt Pepper, or Abby Road, Unless the song is "Let it be", I don't even recall the Let it be Album... Quote: DO know the Wings song you're talking about though...from the album Wings At The Speed Of Sound My parents had it on 8-track
.. Yeah, I know it's McCartney for two reasons
1) I heard it god know's how many times a day in the early 70's when it was top
10 FM radio
2) I absolutely hated that song, I wish McCartney didn't produce that..
But your memory is some type of neurological nuance you've been blessed with.
Something brings you right back to very specific periods... Few have that ability
