Hey Kappy.........couldn't help but notice that you are getting very close to the
5000 post mark :hi5:
In looking at member rankings this puts you at the top ranking in just 14 months....that's gotta be some sort of record.
Has anyone ever done this yet? I doubt it
at this rate you should be there in like maybe a day or so.
Congrats

A day or so.... hehe
Flipper, what's somewhat coincidental about your post, is the time you posted this. About that same time (my east coast time).... around 1-2 AM, I got a curious desire to check my post count and see how far I was from 5K (and no, I don't do that every 5 minutes for those that are thinking that thought ). I kid you not though, I got curious urge to check my post count, and I also checked to see what the highest number of albums a person can get for post count was (which will be 12 silver record albums at 5K), etc.. I was aware a few weeks back that 5K wasn't too far off for me, I think I might've mentioned something... yet forgot about it until around 1 AM or-so, when I for some reason felt compelled to check... I actually went into statistics last night...Funny thing is you posted this around 1-2 AM your time...hehe.. Anyway, yep... Along with my 5000 post count, I can imagine there will be a few, "OK blabber-mouth you made your point, you can go now"

I think there is some magical power going on here.
It seems you get a star when you double your posts, so
your next big day will be 10,000 posts. If you hit that mark I think you
should get a special star. We'll call it "Kappy" and put a smilie face on it.

Rather than a Kappy Star, I have an Idea.
We need Some Singer's Showcase Paraphernalia,
How about T shirts, or sweatshirts ?

Why Yes, yes it is ! It's a big Connecticut Celebration. Just like Mardi Gras is to you folks.. We have our significant festivities up North as well. Dates back to the early 1900's. It's how we pay homage to our neighbors, New York City and North Jersey. The dogs muzzle ALWAYS must face Boston !

Should we place bets on the day and time Kappy will hit 5000??? Could be interesting to see who comes the closest....
My guess will be Wednesday June 20th around 3 am.

You know, when I first saw this, my initial thought was "THAT soon"?, yet considering my posting rate, that's actually pretty accurate Sharon. Who knows.. You might be correct.
btw Don, still thinking :headscratch:

I'd rather sit behind a farting dog than be out in 90 degree heat Keith. Otherwise I'd be glad to help you spread and tamp gravel, but only if it's between 40 and 55 degree's. Otherwise I get bitchy, end up with the frizzies, and have a toughtime focusing so I'm prone to breaking a nail ! How many times do I have to tell you, we Connecticut <female dogs> are high maintenance ! Not like what you're used to.
, I had to enter female dog myself, The site censoring software didn't filter out "that b word" this time for some reason
Seriously though Keith, we're in for a few sweltering days up here as well. Need to get a new sleeve air conditioner unit. I think I said that last year, and the prior year, and the year before that LOL ... Even though this unit is 28 years old it works great... Yet it's on borrowed time.. How do you function in 90 muggy degree's Keith, Dang, I don't do well in 60 and humid... Let alone anything higher... When it get's to 90, I feel sick just being outdoors. Perhaps your air is alot cleaner than the swamp area I live in... Ct is pretty polluted, I'm in a valley between two low mountain ranges, and crap just sits here, stale stagnant air.. I'm moving to Canby instead of Dry Prong, sorry Keith.. I've gotta go North. All you southerners from New Jersey on down have to contend with that horrid air.... Makes this Yankee Skankee, just thinking about the oppressive heat LOL
Anyway, I need to catch a few hours sleep before I start typing goofy stuff.
btw Don, Still thinking !

Unless something really get's me going Flipper, I doubt it'll be this weekend, but stranger things have happened. . You know me, someone could bring up something I have an opinion on, and it'll happen by 5 PM Pacific time today.
(or maybe even I might get an idea, that I have an opinion on, and it'll happen by that time)
Sharon's probably pretty close, around the 20th. Haven't checked the stats to see how many posts I've averaged per day over the past month, yet that would seem like a reasonable indicator, or means for a guestimation. Of course since I'm now getting "performance anxiety", I might run first !
I'm thinking I might celebrate by taking a long vaction. Even getting up to get the mail and do my laundry ! Say, between 9 PM and 2 AM the following morning. Every once in awhile it's good to get away LOL
