Quote: GABA reduces the perception of stress and anxiety. Xanax promotes the reuptake of GABA I think. Also the herb Kava Kava was/is popular especially in a sublingual application or in a tea. Kava Kava is high in GABA. Of course you can get GABA just in a capsule too.
L-Tyrosine, the amino acid is good for increasing the amount of dopamine.
True Don, Alprazolam is a Benzodiazepine, and those promote reuptake of GABA.
Btw, Charmin, This is all your idea, the remote thing is just trying to help.... You thought of it !
Kappy <---Not ripping off any ideas mentioned here !

Charmin I can so relate to the book thing - I've been reading before going to sleep for a long long time, and if I'm into a really good series, I don't want to wait for the paperback so I buy the hardcover and these books are 800 - 900 pages (aka heavy... ). I'm on a paperback series now - for the first 10 books anyway, not sure about the 11th. It would be kewl to have like a small reader device that you could pop a book "disc" into a slot, then the reader would just be a one time purchase, and it would keep costs reasonable....it doesn't sound like an unreasonable thing to me.

When I was about 13, I thought of THIS idea:
(don't ask how the hell i thought of it.... i just did, ok?)
ok so.... y'know how when you go camping or something and the only toilets are outhouses that NEVER have toilet paper? Nobody wants to walk around with a roll of toilet paper cuz then EVERYONE knows what you're about to do! ! so.... I decided someone should make a disposable mitten that you use to wipe yer arse that comes in a little package...... and ya could even get moist ones..... y'know.... like baby wipes..
and I'd call it......... (are ya ready for this one?)
"The SH!T MITT"
!..... I dunno why it's any better than a roll of toilet paper.......... but c'mon the name alone makes it a FABULOUS idea!

I'd need a WHOLE $*&^load of those, and that'd be just after five minutes of being in the woods and hearing an owl, or having an Opposum (bear) sneak up to my tent.

Around the time I first started teething, which was 6 or 7..I had this idea yet it's obvious now that it wasn't a doable concept.... To keep people from biting into their gums due to dental discomfort, have something called a "toof cap" which covers the area...comparable to mittens for chicken pox to keep from ripping off a pock... Just a local cap to cover the area and keep it from bleeding and irritating more... I asked my mom why they don't have it, and she said...
"Stop thinking about your mouth, and play like normal kids do, you're thinking way too much about this"

WHAT?!!!! A double wide coffin?!!!! No way!
Hon, I only agreed to 'until death do us part'...I want my eternity all to myself...I don't want them digging me up and then stuffing my saggy, naggy old wife in there with me to rot and stink for years.....Some of us believe in heaven...and in my idea of heaven there will be all the beautiful women that ever lived and they will all be flirts....Now why would I want to go there with a date?

See Keith, You and I differ in our opinion on this... I'd rather spend time with someone, than after I'm dead if I can tolerate being closed in with them for about 100 more years, I'll consider getting married a first time ! I'm not one for impulsive decisions.

I would love someone to invent a rack case that at a push of a button would raise up to the height I needed to do my show. I would buy it no matter what the cost. Did I mention I just got back from a show and my back hurts. LMAO

20 years ago I thought of putting breakfast flakes in a ziplock type bag inside the box so it would stay fresh longer and keep the creepies out...I even wrote one of the cereal companies and 'gave' them the idea.....I am just now seeing my idea on the store shelves.
My lastest idea is a programable remote control that will operate all functions on my wife and all my major appliances.....I especially want it to have a mute button, a sleep button, and fersure a 'I feel like cooking/cleaning button'....I'm thinking it can be done with implants and the tech stuff we have today.
My wife already has a 'fun' button and it works really well, but afterwards I wake up hungry and have to dig for something clean to wear.
