the closest hotel is a holiday inn express right on the highway.
call them at 1-800-315-2621

it's about three miles away from the bar. there's all sorts of stuff around there, too.
lot's of shopping, sit-down dining, fast food, putt-putt golf and go carts, bars and honky-tonks.....and oh, yeah karaoke! _________________ All work and no play make Homer something something

Thanks for the hotel info..I think we are going to opt for the candlewood suites just down the road a bit....Heck it's only seven miles. We are used to having to go over 15 miles to get home from the bar so this will seem like nothing....Plus since rich and I are such large people we like the extra space of the suite..And it has a full size fridge in the room..And a stove so I can cook breakfast and stuff...heck who am I kidding.....I'm not gonna cook it's a mini vacation

yeah, the only problem with candlewood is that there's some construction going on near there. (that sounds familiar!), but you should be okay. the construction is about a block south. you can use the side entrance/exit to get to lamar and parmer if it's the hotel i'm thinking of.
