He will stay small a very short time.

Cows are very stupid animals....That is the reason they let us eat them.

You do not tame or domesticate a bull...Period.

Yes, they can get very attached to their owner, but it is usually when the owner is peirced by his horns or the owner's body tissues stick to his hooves.

You now know all you need to know about bulls.

Lemme get this straight......

Your man was building you a nice private little fenced in area outside your mutual bedroom door.......And you was skeered he might turn his dog loose in there and you would have a dog poop, dog snoop, and dog noise problem.....So instead, you convert it into a cow pen and stuff a bull calf in there....... :O

Yup.    You pretty much got it straight Keith. Yanno, I didn't size up that "private backyard".... and think "Hmmm..... bet I could fit a little orphan bull in there". It all was unplanned. He stole my heart at the auction, he kept coming up to me.... there was no way I coulda went home without him. And that was just...the best place to put him for now.

Gurl, you got on the wrong breeches.....you need to be wearing Loony Toons pants, cause you are fersure Daffy.

  I've never once claimed otherwise.

Quote:
If I was your husband I would bleed that sucker, skin it, and butcher it for the super tender veal meat, and then make myself some nice calf skin leather items.....and feed the scraps and bones to my faithful and understanding MALE dog....Then I would tie your hands to a shovel and lock you outside until you had cleaned up the calf poop.

Then I would carry you the 40 miles to your momma's house and drop you off....and sic my dog on you if you strayed back. LMAO

My husband.... knows he would die.... if he touched Merle. He likes him, he's just peaved that I didn't, uh, "plan ahead". But you don't plan things like that, you know? I'm a bit compulsive anyhow, if I feel like doing something, I just do it. Not the first stray pet (or, haha, calf) I've brought home. And wont be the last. He will never be eaten in this house, when he is big enough, he'll be sold back at auction. But he'll be so nice & big & well groomed..... he'll bring a good price, and someone will want him for breeding I imagine.

Does your husband have an email address?....Me n him need to talk.

Yeah, that's gonna happen. I guess I could just.... give him your phone number and tell him to call you?  LMAO I'm thinking that probably would not be a pretty conversation, cause you're just way too much alike actually.

Keith is right on that one count. You can train them that a bottle or bail of alfafa being thrown over the fence is "dinner time".... but that's about it. Heck, like I said in a prior post.... he already starts moo'ing at my sliding glass door when he hears me up in the morning. So, their not all that stupid. He thinks I'm his momma.  LOL

Yeah, I'm thinkin'...... maybe I wont give him your phone number after all.  :D You'd have your smart @ss fun, and I would pay the price.

Actually they make very good feed stock for your pet snake....I ain't got no use for any pet that I can't eat, that won't bite the nosey neighbors, or that I can't ride....This little yapping dog of my wife's is currently on the endangered species list around here.....If one of them horses don't stomp him soon, I am going to stake him out in the road just before rush hour.

Charmin, I bought Fluffy Stuff some 'HO' pants, but you can believe they fit better than your ho ho ho jammies. LMAO

Charmin, the sliding glass door to your bedroom is at risk.....I'm thinkin the calf will bust it pretty soon.

What type milk/formula you feeding that beast?..Have you started him on solids yet?...Go ahead and sock the appropriate feed to him or you will never wean him....Start mixing it in a feed bucket with the milk/formula and put it out tween bottles, just don't let it sour....That's how I got all my horses to crave the taste/smell of beer.

I'm currently attempting to teach Gamber to fart, drink, scratch and smoke like a man....Gus seems to be learning faster than Gambler just by watching the training sessons from a distance...Ginger is gonna scream when her Gus gets ruined, but that's her fault...She shouldn't leave her horse exposed to me so much.
