ever try soap candy?
those TEEEEEENY tiny little gummy candies (same shape as gum drops only with no sugar and WAY smaller)
They supposedly taste like soap, but I fricken love 'em!
Some people say that "Thrills" gum tastes like soap too......... I love that stuff too.
am I wierd?
uhh... wait....... don't answer that.....

I never heard of those. Is "soap candy" just a slang term for that product ? Does it go by a different name ? or is it marketed under the name soap candy ?

I suppose I should google it. I'm curious. I'm sure it's been around for quite sometime. Yet alot of what I confuse from the past isn't actually brand-name, just local slang I got used too.. I can't imagine marketing something edible with the noun "soap" in it, would be the best ploy, yet who knows !!!

All I can find is gag candy.......... and those Harry Potter jelly beans.... crazy flavors like vomit and earwax.......... but I can't find my little gummy soapy things.... *sigh* how disappointing.
I only know of one candy store that sells it.... so I'll have to go there one day to find out what they're ACTUALLY called.

Exactly what I found
SOAP CANDY
Item 0038
Price $1.49
Quantity
Two pieces of wrapped hard candy. This candy is tasty until it turns into harmless soap...yuck The Above Picture shows the package with 3 pcs but currently these are only packed with 2 pcs of candy as noted above.
Usually ships within 1-2 days

I wonder if gum drops (as opposed to gummy bear) are really small. I haven't had those in ages.

well....... I found out that the store is called "B Sweet"
but they don't have a website
it's a bulk candy store, so hopefully they'll have the name of the candy on the bins...... not just some generic "mini gummies" or something dumb like that
I'll have to buy a huge bag and bring 'em to Oregon!!

Talk about anti-climactic, enjoying a lump of sugar that turns into soap. I would think I was being punished. Yay! I deserve it too, I've been a very bad boy.
