I tried to help find retailer's that shipped internationally; reasonably. Home recording bbs gave a few names, however when I checked to verify the stores intn'l shipping policy, the retailers seemed to either discontinue it, or what was once shipping to european countries shrunk in shipping radius to just Puerto Rico and close territories of the continental United States. Perhaps it has something to do with wartime, and custom's being much "tighter" than usual.. Who knows, by time you get your package, it might be opened, inspected for all sort's of possibly deadly substances, cut into 9 pieces, and something that is in shape to be auctioned off as government confiscated material .. Who knows... Do they scrutinize, and inspect everything like electronics meticulously when it leaves/enters our border these days ?

Package to Malaysia are normally open when I received it, VCD are a no, no, it need to go to the censor board. but electronic equpment are ok. I have to explained to them what the toy is for tho. An outboard vox efx unit are rare in this psrt of the world. Only the top band use it.

Keith,
I just finish reading a thread at HR.com about the MX200, I will download the manual and try to figure out how to connect it to the MG16. It is in deed a very impressive unit.
On the way to the computer shop to get a new mouse I stop by a pro audio shop to check if they have stock of the unit; they dont have it, they sell a lot of Behringer stuffs and some peeve.

Yes, download the owners manual!...you will see there are many ways to connect it, and yes it will work perfectly with your mixer...It will also connect USB to your computer as an actual harware plugin....It comes with the software! I will include an insert cable so you don't have to buy one....I will also leave the insert cable plugged in so all you have to do is plug it into the insert jack on your mixer....The mic will remain plugged into your mixer just like....The signal will then travel thru the Lex and back to the mixer...What could be simpler?
Screw all the retailers, I am shipping you mine....It is much simpler and faster for me to do that than try to do it thru a retailer....Mine is almost brand new and has only been used 4 or 5 times at home....I already have it boxed up and ready to drop off once I figure out the best way to ship it.
You will love the Lexicon because they make the absolute best sounding and easy to operate outboard FX on the market.

That's very kind of you Keith. From the reading I did the mx200 was only introduced last June. So even a used one is less than a year old. Keenly waiting to try it out.
We have a big gig this July and one big fund raising dinner function in mid Aug. that will give us the best sound sound in town.

Ok!
I just discovered the US post office delivers there in only 4 to 10 days!....I will ship it this week. You will have it in time for the upcoming gigs!...Plus you will have time to learn how to use it.
You must pay me back tho...I want to see more pictures posted here of your life there and your karaoke gigs. I especially like to hear about your customs and social/family lifestyle.
Please advise if I am allowed to ship you music in CDG format or if it must be emailed as a file.....And then tell me if there are certain songs you need.
Maybe someday I can take my wife there to enjoy a real vacation...she has never been anywhere. she needs to see just how big this world is and how people all over the world are basically good-decent folks.

I will pay you with more pics, not a problem . I may be able to get the video of the Gawai cos I know that my nephew was holding a video cam during that time.
As for songs on CDG, most player here dont play that format and the old JVC triple tray are not seen in the shop any more. we use mostly vcd multiplex. I have some mp3 g in my collection but they are only use with my pc and for recording/ singing practices.
And you are always welcome esp during Gawai.

Quote: people all over the world are basically good-decent folks. ....and i think you happen to be one of them keith...(for the most part anyway... ) Beware little lady....I am a jerk.....I have very little patience with females....Well-unless they are 4-5 years old and like to fall asleep in my arms and make my body parts go numb, and they confess to me what they really want for Christmas, and they run to me and hide behind me when someone fusses at them, and they fall down and ask me to make it better....and they like horses and want me to ride them...And they want to pet them and spoil them.
I think I may have overloaded my butt this time...I'm having trouble dealing with red tape on this shipping the Lexicon issue.....No matter what tho, Jian will get his MX200 soon!
But yeah, people all over the world are good at heart....All they need is to get to know each other and show respect and concern for each other.

Update for Jian!....
My good buddy Andrew Malloy at Sweetwater Music came thru for me just now.
He is shipping you a brand new MX200 Today via FedEx....He said it should be there in no more than 2 days!....But it will maybe take several days for your customs folks to notify you, and then it is up to you to deal with them....I sure hope you know someone in customs
Jian, this proves that nothing is impossible.
The rest of you folks remember that Sweetwater really came thru for me this time. They cut thru all the red tape and made a guy all the way across the world very happy.

Jian, I have a favor to ask of you....I want you to play Cupid for me.
The girl in the pic-the one on the left-the one who looks so proud and confident....you said you knew her and her family.....I want you to find her and present her with a simple but special gift that tells her she is special....and I want you to do it in a way that is most respectful of your customs and makes her feel special....Make her understand that a guy all the way across the world has been captured by her beauty and poise-that her beauty is universal and so powerful...That she seems strong and confident.
Then I want you to tell me what she says.
Maybe you should wear a hardhat?
