I looked up tonight and saw a new camera looking down at me, at the practical jokers bar.    Right... above... my.... table.         HMMMMMmmmmmm..... Maybe he's trying to steal my trade secrets.     Can you spell.....elimination?

Is there anything else that's his, of value near your setup ?  Why would he do that ?  How does that benefit him ?  I'd insist he take the damn thing off me.. Or insist on a rational explanation as to what the %(#% he's doing !

There are other cameras in the joint.   He had a breakin a few weeks ago.   It could be covering the window behind me.     Maybe..... it's hooked up to American Idol.      I'm next.....     See ya.... losers..... LMAO

They could be hooked up to his home computer, so he can watch the goings on.   Or to see if I quit early, when he leaves in his drunken stupor.     Or to keep an eye on his old lady, when she comes back to the bar after taking his drunk a**** home.
She likes to hit the poker machines.   She has an unlimited supply of money.... she keeps tapping the cash register.    Has caused some problems with the hired help.   I wouldn't want someone tapping the drawer I'm responsible for.

Yep,  Probably watching his window, but still it's annoying having a camera on you... I know.  Just sneak up from behind the thing,  and throw a towel over it LMAO

Steve, I got it..   Ralph, must have hinted at something.    Firebomb through the window behind me.    He doesn't want to miss a show like that.    America's Funniest Videos.    He'll win the $100,000  watching me run around like a lit chicken with it's head cut off.   That's tooo funny.

Hehe.  Yep.   The camera goes to a closed circuit monitor in Ralphs locked room on ward C..  It's his Saturday night social life, a form of rehab.  Gives him something to live for, and look forward to in the real world when he get's out

Ralph's a man with a mission !

We have cameras in the bar also. Thank goodness there isn't one on me.
I would feel self conscious about why it was there. Kind of creepy.

He has them for the parking lot and has the video set up so everyone in the bar can see it on the tv monitor. You can actually watch your car from in the bar.

Yeah Jian,  But from the sound of some of these bar owners, THAT will be one of the times they tell you "Darn, the tape was turned off, I have no evidence".  In other words, the bar owners want to wash their hands of any involvement unless it involves THEIR property. These owners sound quite selfish.

From the sound of Bab's and Bigdog's bosses,  If they for some reason were in jail, and allowed to make ONE phone call,  It wouldn't be a smart move for either of them to call their bosses to throw them a life-line..  They just sound as if they're hardened self-serving individuals (Their bosses that is)

It's funny, most of the bar owners I've known (recently, not in the days I was playing bars as a musician) have appeared to be nice genuine people.  Of course I suppose when you know a person in a different capacity than one of their employee's it's a very different story. The ones I've known have also been over 60. I suppose that might make abit of a difference, they are tired of the business for the most part and ready to throw in the towel !  Only reason some of these guys would want a camera on their bar, would be to catch the arsonist, and thank him for torching the place !

The only place I'd feel comfortable having a camera on me and camera's all around would be a job I might have at a 24/7 convienience store.  Those are vulnerable to getting hit...  That's a job I'd not feel comfortable having.  I worked in Jewelry retail for awhile, and besides drinking coffee, most of the staff they keep on the floor is for security, not really sales...But there were a few times when I'd come into work, and it was explained to me "There's a sharp-shooter behind the one-way mirror, we've gotten word that there might be a hit on the store"..... Then it was explained what to do if a gun is pulled.... Only part of that job I didn't like.  That was one area of retail I actually liked, the thought of being at gunpoint isn't something a fantasize about fondly. I got rid of my own gun collection when I decided I didn't want the things around,  they weren't collectibles...They had one purpose...and I decided that if I want to collect something, musical stuff was nicer...I didn't feel that my manhood had to be a 357, or 44.  Some guys around here do... "It's a man thing" (they think), no thanks..  I'm not in that kind of danger, I live in a complex with security guards, and gates...neighborhood isn't dangerous yet....IF I needed to carry for my own wellbeing, that'd be a different story.... I started feeling that these aren't recreational things....I don't need weapons to be tough..LOL  (but I did like the cute pearl on the .25 auto)  LOL ,,  (just kidding)

Yet 24 hour convienience stores depending on location are quite vulnerable to getting held up.

The place I go also has cameras on the parking lot with the cameras at the bar so you can see them...It's fun knowing who will walk in before the get in...I guess I am just a bar fly at heart...We have so much fun messing with people that way...

Yeah, now be honest.  The wider corduroy horizontal pattern on those tight powder blue pants didn't make my a$$ look too fat, did it ?  I've been trying to get svelt for pool season this year !  Did you notice how I coordinated the white watch band, with the same tone white of the patent leather shoes ?

I can understand why a bar owner would want a camera on the cash
register. I know a lot of bartenders steal.
There is no way though you could watch all the video taken.

The cameras were put in after a day bartender quit (this was a long time ago).
She worked at the bar 8 yrs +. She bought a brand new truck with cash and bragged about it. When the bar owner realized he was making twice as much $ during the day since she left he knew she was stealing.

Have you ever heard the saying "It's a poor bartender that can't own his own bar after a couple of years of working for someone else?"

I've seen idiots on TV arrested for embezzling money from a local fire hall.    First of all how stupid do you have to be, when they only have $10-20,000 in the fund and they take $5-8000.   And your the treasurer.   Didn't they think anyone would miss half of the money?     They also know that they are closely audited every year.    Because of who they are and how they raise and spend the money.

WE just had a landscaper do some work for an elderly lady.    He came back and strangled and robbed her.     His reason..... He was late on a $ 450 truck payment.    I'll kill him with my bare hands.

We had a guy run off with the funds for our local cheerleaders. How
low can you go. The parents and the kids raise money by selling candy
bars, doing car washes, and other fund raisers. They caught him, but it was to late.
He had a gambling problem and blew all the money.
