I put together another DAW which is 3.2 gig 800 fsb...Utilizing the onboard AGP video and an old ATI 7000 dual PCI for 3 displays the 7000 if installed locks up the system (power off only) And this occurs whether the dual display (7000) is enabled or not... Evidently the ddr memory on the 7000 isnt fast enuff.
Has anyboby run into this problem? Will the 9600 ATI handle the 800 fsb? Googling ATI and 800 fsb brings up zilch...

Well you have a few problems.
Not every video card is going to work well with every motherboard. PCI video cards kill resources. I wouldn'd use a PCI video card with less than 1 gig of ram.
In all honesty for best performance they do sell matched pairs of video cards.
That is expensive.
You best bet is to dump ATI graphics cards and use Nvidia they have way less compatibility issues.
