I have been using Acoustica Internet Audio Mixer but today I just got Audacity. For some reason while I am recording it will just stop. Sometimes the background music will keep playing but sometimes it stops too. I have no idea what to do. I can't get through recording a whole song because it just stops. If anyone can help me please do!!!

Does audacity stop recording, or is the recording there, but only recording silence?

audacity just stops recording. the first time it stopped i kept singing and then when i played it back, there was silence where it stopped recording......

Also make sure you dont have too many programs open while you are attempting
to record. You may be drawing too many system resources and robbing you of Ram.
I also agree with Swingcat try downloading program again. Be sure to uninstall previous version first.
