Would suggest NOT getting "generic" cdg's.

If you are starting out and you do not have any CDG's there is a company on e-bay where you can get a good base set of Sound Choice CDG's. They do not list what the discs are but I ordered and I was very happy with what I got. It was a real nice selection and the price could not be beat.

You are starting a karaoke bus. I think they run on gas not cdgs.
Don't start cheap get good cdgs- it is better to have quality not quantity. I also
suggest e-bay.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I highly recommend always getting Sound Choice when you can.

For the most part. I generally get Sound Choice for older rock/pop occasionally other genres including new stuff & country, Chartbuster for most country & the monthlies for current rock/pop.

Hey, Aspires to Mediocrity, were you and Phil Helmuth (World Series of Poker)
separated at birth. Sorry, just had to toss that one out there.
Donny "B"
ps: Definitely Sound Choice, and the whole set of Dangerous can be had on Ebay for short....paid about $8.00 for mine....a lot of great songs....not available on other labels.

i think chartbuster is the same compay as sound choice but i will not put money on that statement...
i think dk karaoke is good for novice singers and the "vocally impaired"--they have an instrument subtly playing the melody in the background. that can be irritating when you progress to the point of being able to put some individuality in your style, but if you are working with newbies...give it some consideration.
i shop at prosing online a lot and buy their collections becuase they are so-o much cheaper...and i get mostly generic or lesser known manufacturers but have not had any problems. of course they are for home use, not commercial.

Yeah I wouldn't put any money on that one either, very much 2 completely independant companies from one another.
