Karaoke Forums

Hello everyone I am new here. I have been doing karaoke here for the last 5 or 6 months. Both neighbors of mine have have karaoke players at their houses. One afternoon I was invited over and 6 hours and 8 or 10 beers later I was completely hooked on the whole karaoke experience. Later in that same week we went to a local bar that had karaoke on a mid week night. So I got to do about 4 or 5 songs that time. I was initally nervous but got over it after a couple beers and a couple songs.
I have just bought a player this weekend and been having a fun time with it. I got the RJ Tech 4200. It will work for home use. My only problem is my surround sound system does do vocals very well. I was wondering if I used karaoke speakers hooked up to this receiver would it sound decent. Hooking them up as the left and right front channels?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
