That may have been true the first year, but this year the contestants were mostly in their 20's. Chris Young is 20, Casey Rivers is 23, Nicole Jamrose is 33 (that's the top 3)... then there were Shy Blakeman (25), Jared Ashley (29), Kristen Macnemera (20), Melanie Torres (28), Monique LeCompte (23), Matt Mason(20), and Jewels Hanson (31).

How 'bout that song they play at the end when the loser is in tears and watching clips of their journey... 'Bad Day' written and sung by Canadian artist Daniel Powter..... that song hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 right after it played on AI and has remained there for the past 5 weeks.... not bad!

I think it will come down to Chris and Katherine...  :drums:

I have to agree.....I think it will be those two, also.  Not my choices but I can see it happening.   I like Chris so that would be okay.   But heck...I'm still pouting because Kelly was sent home...

I'm still trying to figure out what was going on with Paula this week.  When she cried over Elliot's song my first thought was "How Sweet" but then as the night progressed and I watched her I began to think she may have been on something besides water.

Yeah... she seems like she's stoned. She's been acting that way off and on for a while now.

There has definitely been some speculation that she is on prescription meds.  Recently I saw her interviewed on our local news chanel and she stated that she was attacked by a man at a party ... he apparently grabbed her by the arm and threw her against a wall! She claimed to have a concussion and spinal injuries. Perhaps she is taking pain killers...  or perhaps she is a genius for finding a new way to get pain pills and some publicity at the same time!  :ideagrin: hmmm...

Well.... whatever the case... she always seems to land on her feet.  

Simon may be a jerk, but Paula is a drunk teenager.

I don't like how Paula interacts with Simon. It is like a little sister to
imature to know what say. She says shut up and hits him. She is a grown woman
can't she have an intelligent rebutal.
