What would cause the right channel output to be fine, and the left to be at a very reduced volume or not at all?   I have a Mackie and a Pee Vee doing the exact same thing.    Two different systems.    Even does it if I just set up the mixer in the cellar to totally different stuff.    A few years ago I bought the Mackie to replace the PV.    Now the Mackie is doing it.

What else is in the signal chain?  Are you using the same equipment?  Cords?

Are you inputing thru the CD TAPE RCA INPUTS OR using a stereo channel strip?

Yeah that's what I thought too.     Hooked them both straight out to a powered speaker.    Same input player.     Turned every knob and pushed every button.    Today after some contact cleaner spraying , the left side of the Mackie is now full volume and the right is only half.   It switched sides.     Talked to some techs today that weren't much help, the one told me it needs serviced.     Whoa, I bet he's the smartest one they have.   I couldn't have thought of that in a million years.
