Yamaha EMX5000-12/S115V PA Package

Just wondering if this would be good for a home system or would this be a little overboard?  I'm a newbie at karaoke systems so any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks

Would make a fine home system that can be used with no problems for outdoor backyard parties as well also would fit equally into club work.

I just purchased the EMX5000 Powered Mixer for my main bar gigs.....you will be extremely happy with this system. You have plenty of power and all the features any professional would need.

Excellent Choice!

No such thing as overboard!  What one might considered overboard, another might consider not enough!

I say if he can afford this nice of a system for home....More Power To Him!!

He will never be dissatisfied by going overboard on this system. It gives him the ability to do whatever he chooses in home or in a larger setting in the future.

Also if he desides to sell it down the road it will appeal to a broad range of users.

That's $1300 or (6) SoundTech S20 PA systems + $100 to spend on CDGs.
I can only dream about a system like this!
LOL

disguy409 is the one who has decided to go with this system. LOL

You have to go with what your pocketbook can bear.

Trying to compare those two systems are like night to day. That yamaha system is 8-10 times the system you have. But it is 6 times more in cost too.
There are tradeoffs we all make based upon what we can afford.

Dont worry, stay with what you can afford and build from there.

I could buy the Yamaha if I really wanted to but I'd regret it in the end because I'd feel like I wouldn't get my moneys worth.  If I was a KJ like the majority of the guys then I'd have no problem buying it for non-home use.  A few months ago if someone told me that I was going to buy a PA system for karaoke I'd thought they were crazy.  I'm just glad that I found this forum because you learn so much.  The information you get on this forum is priceless!  As a matter of fact, I don't frequent a lot of my other websites and forums because I'm always browsing this one.

Oh yeah, I have two Yamaha subwoofers connected to a tv and a Yamaha 5.1 receiver.  So I do appreciate and realize that Yamaha is a quality product!

I have two of these. One on the road and one at home. I want to sound good no matter where I'm at.
