I loved the charts.
Unfortunately all the other companies prices will go up
because the gas prices did. Some companies will eat the cost and not
raize prices.
My point is our gas prices change week to week. Food prices don't change week to week. Can you imagine bread being $1.89 one week then the next week being $3.00.
Then going back down again.
hmmmmm....Bread made in USA....Crude Oil...Made mostly in Middle East.
What a novel idea, try to find oil in our own country. OPPS can't tree huggers & government regulations.

I realise we are fortunate in the US. But we knew this was a problem - why haven't
we done something about making more refineries. I'm tired of hearing we have oil, but not enough refineries.
again governmet regulation and tree huggers

I don't want to make this thread political either. But I have to laugh when I think of how many countries thought we went to Iraq to steal their oil. The proof is in now. We still have an oil problem.
I said it before you....
Don't get me wrong, I am not total against the tree huggers, they have done some good by keeping companies/governmet in check. There has to be a line drawn somewhere. Unforunatly that line, for now, can only be draw in the desert sand of the Middle East. That part of the world is very unstable right now. Some are predicting a millitary confrotation with Iran, and that is what is driving up the cost of crude oil this time. Who know what it will be next time.
The one thing that gets me is this....
day one...Crude oil prices sky rocket
day two...Gas price go up imeadtly to compensate
day 20...Crude prices go down
day 40...Prices at the pump finaly go down becasue the lower priced gas, made from the lower priced crude, finaly gets to the pumps.
If that is the case, why do gas price imeadtly go up when crude price go up? Even before the higher priced crude/gas gets to the pumps.
It has me confused.
