There's a lot of hard songs out there... any song where I try to mimick the original singer is hard. Mariah Carey is hard. Celine Dion. Oh yeah, I love singing there songs too, but Queen is super tough for me (if you screw up their songs, it's a real crowd downer)   :(

Hardest song EVER for me......... is a Dixie Chicks song called "Top of The World". Not a very popular one of theirs, but it's on their "Home" cd.  I want so bad to be able to nail that song, but I just can't.  :crying2:

It would take quite a range to do that song...... alot of vocal jumping in it IMO. Beautiful song though.

And, on a sidenote......... Lonman, is that a RECENT pic of you? Vey different looking than your last one, your hair looks much longer. (no disrespect to your wife.... but very nice looking picture)  :D

I tried, keyword: TRIED, to knock out "Total Eclipse of the heart" one time and ended up walking away with a limp...

Well I will try to sing anything - problem is that it is HARD on everyone else!

So I don't sing very often. When I do sing I stick to simple stuff that I can usually perform without too many ears bleeding.

One song that I have tried and failed miserably and EVERYONE I have ever heard try to do it has failed miserably:

Midnight Train to Georgia, Gladys Knight and the Pips

Too many little intricacies to EVER get right....

Yep, I agree with that philosophy. The hardest song I keep trying and fail miserably is "More than words" by Extreme. There is absolutely no break between versus and the notes are impossible to hit and the range is amazing.

In Falsetto  "The First Time", by the group Surface.

DeBarge songs aren't easy either.
