I never bothered to ask any of my wives for permission to bring a girlfriend in the house...I mean, why bother, they would have said no, right?

I suppose spouses have a tendency to be selfish, and act unreasonably about certain things Keith. How possessive of them.

Exactly. That's why us women, who are much smarter than you men..... just take our boyfriends to a hotel. The spouse would make a grumpy third wheel anyhow.... so why bring them home at all?
Much more peaceful that way.

Just make sure you throw the receipts away and open up the credit card statement before the husband does. This thread has gone to the dogs that's for sure! Well they all do eventually

Odie, you know me well enough to know when I'm being serious...... and when I'm being sarcastic. So don't lump me in with the "dogs" just yet please.
Truth is, I should not be here today at all. I'm all mouth and no brain today.

This doesn't affect a lot of things.
1. If there is domestic violence the police can (and will) enter the home (probable cause).
2. If they enter the home and see drugs on the table you're screwed (plain sight rule).
3. What they can't do is search the house without a warrant once they're inside if one person says yes, and the other says, no.
But what do I know... I'm no lawyer. I'm just a guy that watches WAY too much law and order, law and order SVU, law and order CI, CSI, and discovery channel.

I'm in the same boat as Isis. But I'm very happy with my hometown police officers when it comes to dealing with domestic abuse issues. They're all very well trained, helpful and understanding men and women.
I also don't think this will effect much when it comes to the safety of a woman. I do think however, someone might try to use this law to sue their local police force for entering without their permission or whatever... I'm sure if someone's willing to stoop to abusing their spouse or child they'll stoop to using this law to prosecute the ones who saved those who were being abused.

Yeah, Guy's aren't that dumb. The fifth time a women took me to a "Big Six", I realized that after 5 minutes of the wildest night I ever had, when she said
"I'll be right back"
and drove off with my clothing, (and not just the powder blue polyster leisure suit with white buttons) but ALL of them, (Including the earthboots) She likely wouldn't return that time either, and this was just a means to get out've paying for the motel. :(

The headliner for the cops in my neighborhood was around 2003, when someone called them regarding a 4 foot snake that crawled from the pond into the pump room at our local pool. Town was in lockdown for two days ! I still won't go to that pool !!
