Thank you Odie. And WHY is it that I can't get Lonnie to use that phrase? :laughatthat:

Don, I think I goofed on my "assumption" again. And we all know that "assumptions are......."
Nevermind.
I think the "Lonnie" is what might have confused Steven. The fact that it's not the most common of names.... and there's one who's a member here.... and he lives close to us.
Or, hail, maybe NOW I'm assuming. Maybe I need to go swig on that bottle a vodka my niece brought over. Or somethin'.

OK, Now I understand ! I don't know many Lonnie's.. Yet I didn't think you were married to Lonman, yet also didn't understand in your context how you'd be joking either...So, now I realize that not EVERYONE in here is related... Just 75%. Yet it's still funny how all the women in here play the Tuba !
Only thing that made me think twice, is that I listened to an online sample of Lonnie's wife singing with his band.. She has a spectacular voice IMHO.. So I figured "maybe" but NAH, couldn't be LOL Not that you don't have a spectacular voice Charmin, you do... but "NAH"...for other reasons. HEHEHE
Although IMHO, that's the ideal marriage, when the husband and wife live in different states. LMAO

She's a very good singer..... he put some subs up of her and I listened to some online as well. The lady rocks for sure. We sound nothing alike at all, she doesn't even really sing the same style of music I do. Not the most unusual thing for both husband and wife to like to sing though. Alot of couples meet due to music. Many couples I know of- from here- both enjoy singing. Not so in my marriage, my hubby sings- in his truck, but never in public. Quote: Although IMHO, that's the ideal marriage, when the husband and wife live in different states. LMAO
And that's ANOTHER thing I wish I could get my Lonnie to agree to!! LOL

Where I've lived they meet because their spouse is out've town.
HORRIBLE, and all too common.... Musical bedrooms was a huge activity getting played by my friends parents in the 60's... Alot of times with the kids IN THE HOUSE.
The "free love era" wasn't an exaggeration of what was transpiring in certain areas during those times.

Take it from someone who KNOWS...this is NOT a good thing!!
My almost-ex-wife and I have NEVER shared a household...
It's pathetic!!

I know Dave, it's not a good thing in the healthy relationships, nor is it healthy for a relationships closeness. I was just aluding to the other 95% of peoples relationships, where they live together, and are miserable..

Yep, that's a true statement everywhere Steven. I imagine we'd be surprised to ever see the true numbers of how many marriages were split because of the one "out of town"..... OR...... the one "left behind at home". It does happen- alot.
But, if it happens, I'm of the belief that it was something "destined" to happen. People say "I never thought my marriage would........ blah, blah, blah". But maybe they CHOSE not to see that it was headed that way, cause they didn't want to face it.
Boy, this may get me a spankin', but it's just my opinion. I don't think the 3rd party is always to blame. If someone (married) is tempted.... there's a reason behind it. They may say their happy at home, but must not be, not entirely. Or else they would not go there. In my opinion anyhow, but then I'm no Dr Phil.
Charmin is getting boring today.... we need a jazzed up little change of topic I think.

That's a toughy.
You look more "rugged" ...... and, uh...... a bit like a rogue..... with it on.
But, just for "looks" themselves.... I think maybe you're a bit more clean-cut handsome with it gone. Some girls may like that better.
I've told ya a gazillion times... I'm not your average gal. I don't like my men to be purdier than me. LOL I like men to look a bit.... unkempt, not all spiffed up. I mean, "clean"..... but not too "clean cut". A two day old scruffy beard, some ripped up jeans, worn cowboy boots, and an open at the neck work shirt, or a tight white t-shirt.... on a clean man. That's handsome in my books.
Course, hahaha, I have no claim on YOU, so my personal little opinion don't matter. Since you asked though..... there it is.
If your opinion wasn't important to me, I wouldn't have asked! Thanks!!
Of course, it didn't really HELP that much...but...
Edit: And btw...I don't think it's POSSIBLE that any man could be purdier than you!! :worship:
