I don't keep track.

I'm waiting for pcdj or virtual dj to do it for me.

my singers are always asking me for a list of what they sing and i thought it would be great if there was a program that kept track ot this.  i found one and it is coumuhoster  but it runs right at $200  i already have a program for hosting a show just not to log the singer and there songs and keep them updated

We do it the old fashioned way....

Our regular singers (regular=comes 3/4 times a month to the same show) are told that we will keep their slips from week to week for them.. if they want us to.  I have three boxes, all alphabetized by first name, last initial... (which is how we announce our singers) ... and I keep the packs of slips for the "regulars".  When they arrive, they pick up their pack ... and at the end of the night, they turn the pack back in.  I  then put the songs they sang in THAT show back in the pack ... and then the pack back in the box.

Every three months, I sort through the boxes, and anyone who hasn't been to the show in over a month is weeded out (this keeps space available).  So far, it works great and the singers really appreciate not having to fill out new slips each week.

When we get a new singer .... we tell them about our "hold your slips" policy ... and we "advertise" the policy with our video screen that runs between singers.  We haven't gone totally "computer" yet... so for us .. this works well... but its "manual" .. not a software program.

The program I designed will do it, but I rarely use that option in my shows.  Most of our singers just hang on to their own slips.  I give them back when they come up to sing & they can keep track of what they do.

I use excel to track them. I make up a worksheet for each regular. We file them under each singers name in a index. When they come in we hand it to them.

i usually don't keep my singers in a log.  i find that they tend to go stale after a week or so.  i have a nice big controlled climate shed that i keep them in.  mind you there's no windows because sunlight can damage a singer.

As a singer I wouldn't want to be placed in a log because I would have to be shrunk first...... LMAO

It's rumored the next version of Sax & Dotty's is going to have one. The 2.2.16 version doesn't have it. It's still in the works.
