Hmmmm..... I was gonna say "where are the women"?
But I woulda been incorrect.
Why are all men like that? My hubby is the same way.....NOBODY can touch his barbecue.
BTW..... Yours looks like mine. (New Braunfels model??....Barbecue/Smoker??) Much tastier then gas grills....
But don't tell Hank Hill I said that. LOL

Good point.... so true. Can't have barbecue without downing 1/2 a beer, and pouring the rest over the meat. Just wouldn't be the same.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this pic?
1. My backyard
2. My cookout.
3. My grill.
This is Obvious !
Rather than helping you with the cooking, your wife is just standing there next to you staring at your meat looking all pretty with her glasses and moustache; while you have to do all the work on your day off.

Can you be slightly more explicit? It sounds like you have something going there, and I might just try it, but explain please.

Nothing explicit at all...
Take a can of beer, drink half of it...then stand a chicken up by the cavity on the half-full can, and then stand said chicken and beer on a hot grill. The beer makes it THE MOST tender and juicy bird EVER...it gets grilled and beer-steamed at the same time

In my much, much younger dumb days, me and my 8 roomates(yes, I said 8 and it was a 2 bedroom apartment) at the time came up with a chicken recipe I still use today.
1 whole chicken
2 bulbs of garlic all cloves cleaned
1 can of beer
throw it all in a baking dish together and bake for about an hour covered for approx an hour at 400-425
I take the cover off for the last 10-15 minutes so that it will brown.
talk about a good tasting chicken....
This recipe was born because we were all hungry and that is all that was in our fridge....
