You are both sick by even going there. Your parents must be very proud of you.

Had way too much catnip, threw up on the new rug then passed out on my owner's lap. I'll tell you what my cat did someday.

Offensive to me, or to somebody else?
To me: The Garbage Crawl to get my Shellback. It was just NASTY!! I threw out my shoes and my clothes from that day...and it still took about a week to feel like eating ANYTHING afterwards
To somebody else: Let's just say I got caught getting frisky in the woods with my then-girlfriend...that was fun!!

Mardi Gras.....
If you've been there you know what I am talking about.....
I personally believe that Las Vegas stole that slogan "What happens here stays here" From Mardi Gras.....

have read too many of your posts to do that! j/k
I had my story all typed up here, and then noticed the end of the title said 'keep it decent, please', so I had to edit/delete.

Oh, for some reason I thought It was already stated that I was sick, yet it's nice of you to restate this ! Let me guess, EVERYTHING you did during all stages of your development made your parents proud, and these special moments of course NEVER are thought about, or rejeuvenated in your mind ? Why do I think "angelic soul" when I think of you Shyguy ? Nothing obstinate about you, nope ~
Or could it be, YOU WERE SICK TOO ?

Of course my parents did not always agree with what I did, as anyone who was a child. The difference is that I am not proud of the things I have done wrong, you obviously are, and that is the sick part.

Would you like to cite me the part of my statement where I state I was proud when I was despicably ill ? Admitting there was a "black period" that I don't wish to get specific on is not boasting of a glorious period of existence. It's merely a confession that I was ill, don't wish to get into detail, yet don't wish to NOT take part in this conversation, that mentions "drinking period", nor do I wish to get specific..
In confessing (in context) that I got quite sick on alcohol when younger, yet also not feeling compelled to hide this (however also not taking part in specifics) is not an implication that I am currently haughty, or contemptuous or entering a "one-up" type contest. In certain cases, yes people boast. In this particular case, I don't feel a need to hide, or get graphic. Like MUCH of what I divulge, it's a part of my past, and without specifics mentioned, we all have our angels and demons.
My character was affirmed in my aforementioned statement.
A person stating, "I was sick", does not always imply "and proud of it" in lieu of it merely being stated. Not all is black or white.

I am human, as are my parents. Not all I did makes THEM proud, and similarly NOT all they did, THEY are proud of ! Since you are a parent, you already know this. This is obvious to most by adulthood btw.
In my particular case, I feel equally comfortable demonstrating area's I might have a bit more knowledge in, AS WELL as stating where I'm frail, and just a really dumb$**t (in the general chatter categories when appropriate). I'm not too proud to be a human, nor am I trying to market myself as anything but "me".. No sales pitch. I'm weak in areas, and strong in other areas, I'm not above anyone here.

You gotta remember that I married a gal who went to high school with my son, but she was 2 grades behind him...Now wouldn't that be cool if your dad had a chick that you went to high school with?...and like it was back in school you could give her a wedgie and push her around and act juvenile with her when you came to visit dad?
Yep, my mom and dad might-just might think I'm wierd, but my son thinks I got it going on. So far he's liked my choice in step mothers....I think I'll let him pick the next one.
