I have been pc based DJ since 1997.

Karaoke I switched in 1999.

Cd's are a pain to carry. They are still a pain I have to dust them, I would like to bundle and vacum pack.

I use the computer for KJ and disc player for DJ. Of course I am
mainly a KJ. I have never done a DJ only job. Interesting question.
I was surprised so many are still using disc players. Of course using a computer
means learning how to use one and that can be a daunting task to someone
who never has.

I made the switch to 100% digital at the end of 2002 for both Karaoke & DJ
