Well, gosh...... you come online, conversations are going, you start posting- then wham:
KS is literally frozen and your name is the last on all the recent threads. Nobody's talking all of a sudden. And then I start thinking.......... "What'd I say? Did I scare everyone off? Are they LEAVING because I'm here now"
Of course not that I care either. :crying2: :bigcry: :dontknow: Well, yeah, I guess it would hurt my feelings a bit..... if people left because of me.
But Seby, you're not here very often any more. Atleast throw us a bone once in a while when things get too boring. You & jvj had a way of stirring the pot when you wanted to. LOL

and way too serious. But you have a knack of adding some serious thought at the right time too. So, don't go away!!!

I've already got it up for sale on Ebay. I didn't make alot of money selling Hoboken New Jersey, Jacksonville Florida, and got trashed by negative feedback after selling Philadelphia. At this rate I have little to lose if I end up NARU status. The idiot that bought the Eiffel Tower is still challenging me over the UPS shipping fee... The lazy &*%^ refused to pick the item up in person, asked me to ship it, he agreed on packaging fee's... and I suspect might not follow thru with the transaction... I never lied about the item being great lawn decoration for his Quebec City Raised ranch.. He's sending me all sorts of weird mail making up stuff :( Why do people bid on my auctions if they aren't serious about the item when they end up highest bidder upon close ?
Only thing that get's me more miff'd than that, is when I'm minding my own business downloading on Kazaa, and some cheapskate leech feels compelled to mooch off've me ! I can't stand that..
Anyway, I'm so sick of people not using common sense and reason these days !
Anyway, I have to run.. I need to print out a batch of authenticity labels for the Dutch auction I start running of the Mona Lisa... Low reserve
BE THERE !

I'm nothing else if not honest. IMO there is too much fluff by a lot of people. Especially when a serious thread is started and gets hijacked. I little humour in serious threads is ok but when it goes on for pages and only the first half of the first page is on topic, then things are getting out of hand and nothing but a fluf gabfest. It wastes a lot of a readers' time looking at what's pertinent and what's not.
Some of you may not like what I say, others are vigorously nodding in agreement, but that's the way I see it.

Hmmmm...... I'm THINKin'.....
That you're one of those Ebayers that my hightech redneck momma warned me about!
But, sure, I'll go check 'em out. Sure, yeah, be right there. I'll even bid.... help raise your sale a bit. (I'm actually pretty good at that....used to do it at live auctions to people who ticked me off, haha, just to watch them pay more $$)
But, that doesn't make me sound very polite....so once again.... ssshhhh. That's strictly inside info Steven.
Now I gotta go. See you all in the morning.

You know, I agree. I hate when threads are hijacked. People should be docked points on here or something each time they do that, IMHO.
But wait a minute.... this is MY thread.... about how I talk to much..... and you're changing the subject to be about hijackers, and other threads......
[schild=1 fontcolor=FF0000 shadowcolor=C0C0C0 shieldshadow=1]Hijacker!!! [/schild]
hahaha, kidding ya.
But my suggestion would be: Just read every thread 1/2 way through the first page, skip over posts by known hijackers (of which YOU are now one).... and you should come out rosy.

I'm as guilty as the next guy here Tim. Probably at least twice is guilty because my posts usually out number several "next guy's" in terms of quantity. I try to make an effort not to get involved in threadjacking, because one of the things I do like about this place is given the large number of members. We've been given ALOT of leash Length to run as we please with only minimal amounts of mod slapping, and intervention. For the most part I think the regular's in here DO keep things somewhat balanced, yet the threadjacking is a tough tough thing, especially given such a broad spectrum of ages, maturity levels, (not to mention obsessional yacking from the side-affects of our psychotropic medications). while I admit the tech room, and singers showcase topic rooms aren't the places for drifting thought's and topics that can't stay within a few generations of the original post..Even though it's wrong, the Discussion forum turns into a big party room with the same characters, and we carry our drinks from one thread to the next, Sort've like a party in a big house with alot of rooms....Many of us get sloppy, and start dragging toilet paper on our shoes from one room to the next... It's poor etiquette I agree, yet a concerted effort SHOULD be made not to do this... reminders like this aren't a bad idea ocassionally, some of us are more guilty than others, yet there are posts that people do wish to stay within a few generations (at least) of the context of the original post .
Now why this was posted in my new Guitar thread, I have no idea. But I will overlook it this time !
So anyway Don.. I'm still trying to figure out what make your first guitar is.. It's not a Kalamazoo... I have an american book of the origins of electric guitar I will paruse tonight.

I wouldn't worry about talking too much. Even though (as everyone well knows) I'm painfully timid, and seldom open up in here, since I've been getting quite a few EMails requesting, "Kappy, We wish you would come out've your shell more and type something every once in awhile" I'll break the silence for this thought...
November and December people were starting threads such as
"What happened to the good old days"
"Why doesn't anyone post here anymore"
"This place is dead, most are over at ____ now"
A few of us came around the holidays planning on igniting a few coals in here to bring the "good old days back"...
In reality, it's been a fun reunion IMHO ! This is the type of action here (although a few will complain from either side.... "too much inanity" or "Why is it dead in here" regardless of how things are) that get's people involved, it's not overly intense most of the time, and people are having fun, additionally with the ocassional spat, people have been getting along quite well, and resolving disagreements among themselves much of the time.... What more could a discussion (just about anything goes) forum ask for assuming it's everyones "just about all goes in here" forum ? People are posting. Compare it to November and the beginning of December and the few months prior..
There's life in here... Perhaps in another 10 months, THESE will be the "good old days" someone starts a thread about that are no longer.... Never will 100% be happy, it can't exist among this many members....
What's most important of course is "What does Kappy want us to talk about?"
