Recording engineer and instructor Bruce Miller has posted on his website a free
course of sorts in recording engineering/audio technology.  It is still a work in progress, but he has the entire course outlined and is adding the content to the modules.  There are some decent points of instruction and advice up there.
Just thought I'd let you know if anybody's interested.

(note: scroll up when you get there to see the course outline and what he has posted already.)

Don,  Karyoker mentioned that site awhile back.  Seems pretty good actually. I don't know if I'd actually have the discipline to absorb alot of that in the home computer setting.  That's been my concern about online classes.  Just as when I'm working, it's easy to get sidetracked and run back and forth between this system, and the work system. I'm inclined to think that some things are best suited for a school, or work environment, and with so many home distractions, not sure I could absorb alot of the 'online course' material.

He started it around June/July last year and is now picking up fast. A lot of people from HR.com are taking that course. Miller have a thread at studioforum.com to answer question related to the course.

Seem's like a fabulous idea Jian,  I think these can be alot harder than actual college courses if a person applies themselves !
