I have heard, in many cultures, alchohol is an everyday way of life, just like our kids drinks Cokes. Like in Europe....Maybe some of our friends from different areas of the world would be willing to share with us..

One bar I was in, there was a nine year old boy, damn kid was doing better with the chicks than I was.....I hate that.......seriously in Indiana it is not tolerated.....Mr. Singing Squid? What part of Indiana are you from..........jj

Oregon has some VERY different laws...  ..
I'm quite aware of some of the things that are supposedly "totally legal" in your state Lil Mizz.

Isis, I am not an "expert" on the laws and restrictions in Europe, but while traveling in Gremany, France and Italy, it was quite common to see children age approximately 11 or older drinking wine and beer with their families. In Germany there were 16 year olds served beer in the Biergarten. It might have something to do with culture, and alot of people utilize the transit system and use bikes and drive less often.

That's true. Not positive, but I don't think most of the teens in Europe use alcohol in such an extreme way as over here. Since it's culturally allowed at that age, it's probably not as exciting.

True, it is a normal routine for them to sit down to dinner with their relatives and drink alcoholic beverages. To most of us, it might be apauling or bad judgement, but this is their customs.

Some of you kiddies (and by kiddies I mean 25-40 year olds) might not recall some of your parents smoking pot and passing the joint right over your crib, or even high chair.. It was not at all uncommon in the 1960's and 1970's for certain liberal parents to smoke pot in their home with the babies right there. LOADS of times I was toking in a den or living room with the baby even in the mothers lap, and usually in the same room. For all I know if your parents were musicians on the east coast during that 60's thru early early 1980's period, and also happen to be around baby boomer age, or assuming they grew up during any part of that "free love era" I might've been toking while you were standing in your diapers watching, heck, I might even be YOUR FATHER :shock:

Speaking of singing, , I don't think people in the showcase are gonna know who in the heck I am for a while, hahaha.
Then they are gonna think my pic is kinda strange. Not alot of them come over here, so they're totally not gonna understand my "disguise". How dumb, they're gonna think I just wear billcaps all the time....... and sunshades in the winter. :rotflmao:
