All these songs I sub on SS that I have written lyrics for, I'd be interested in creating my own CDG's using my own original lyrics and maybe some photos in the background Ive shot. That way I can sing my own stuff at Karaoke in a CDG format with the words on screen etc. So, whats a good program for incorporating the words, images and the song and then burning a CDG of same?? Matt?? Lonnie???

The best and most powerful program to do this is "Karaoke Builder Studio" I've used it to make about 200 cdg parody, utility, and original tracks recorded by my band. You can make any cdg to look like sound choice with color changes for duets, or any other disk manufacturers look.

Thanks! I Dl'd it but cant figure out how to get the music to show up and then impart words to it. Is there a different version I sould get? Then do you need some kind of special driver to burn in CDG format?

are you using "karaoke builder studio" or "karaoke builder"??
They are actually two separate entities. The first is for scrolling lyrics, where the second is more for a powerpoint kinda slideshow, or individual screens!

Karaoke Builder Studio V3.0.145> I think the trick is that it has to use WAV files and not MP3

Then how do you get it to burn in CDG?
If I ever can figure out how to actually make some of these, Ill have to drop in one night and sing a few.
And I got alot of REALLY cool train photos that would work really well for background images. Maybe even do it as kind of a "Slide Show". Get some bar girls to pose with me and use those as backgrounds. Use the images to help tell the song story---Like my MR. Cash song presently on SS.

you save the completed work as a .bin file. And then use either Nero or cdrwin or other karaoke burning program. Their site goes into that a bit. They only make the program so you can use it, not to BURN it. Which I personally feel is a crock! !
For a computer, you use mp3toolz to convert the .bin file to the .mp3+g!
The program has changed a bit since the last one I used... they used to have an online tutorial, where now it's built straight into their help file!

Kurt,
I'll come over sometime this week. Shoot me an email when you're available...
To be honest, I almost never fart around with the audio. I only do the video.
I use Goldwave to do the audio bit.
