Quote: "open mic night" at Denny's.
That sounds like a blast, the denny's around me don't have live entertainment (at least to my awareness). Border's does however... Too bad they don't like real music... I"d like to bring a few friends and show up with my Marshall stack, and play some edgy blues... Sort've a different style to read by

If I thought there WERE peeping toms? I'd leave gaps in the curtains- on purpose. I'd just PRETEND not to know they were there. :dancin: My neighbor tried that untill I wrote a "3" score on her window with white shoe polish....When she saw that, she shut her curtains and I could finally get some sleep.

You know, on a serious note, it would be hella fun most likely to get to have you jam live with us sometime.
If only the world were flat & only 150 miles across, we could afford gas &/or plane tickets for those kinds of things.
There was simply..... not enough people to show up to play. Heck, I got stuck playing guitar most of the night.... and I'm not even a grand guitar player. (at all) They didn't advertise, they just asked US about it, & told karaoke people they were gonna do it on a certain night. People showed to listen, and it more or less turned into a situation where I sang with my guitar for an hour or so, Don played bass for me, and my nephew jumped in on some stuff. Not much of an "open mic". One other girl did bring her guitar & sing a couple songs, she's a bartender there, and an AWESOME singer. But they need to organize it better. Denny's here in Canby has a kinda small sized bar at one end- seperate from the restaurant, that's where they hold the karaoke. It's okay. A bit too small, but I like the crowd. And I know all the KJ's now, they've become friends. I'd feel I was deserting them now if I went elsewhere.

Dear Blog,
Today I left KS at around 5:46PM EST..
I'm glad I discovered KS, I'm going to enjoy my sexlife now... Plans are to draw a bath, and take the laptop into the bathroom... After holding my head under the surface for about a half hour, I'm going to remove the string from my neck. The other end of course will be attached to the laptop computer which I will at that point yank into the water...
God I love that room...
After that I'm going to put on some clothing, and get my mail. Sign off the computer for roughly an hour so the people at KS think I have a life... I might even pretend I went next door shopping..
Love Kappy

Dear Blog~
6:04 PM
I got my new job as an Emergency Room Nurse at the hospital, and started today.
On my first day, we had a very sad occurence.
A man was brought in barely clinging to life. Apparently, he had been found by a neighbor, laying naked in his empty bathtub, head down, with his computer mouse tied around his ankles..... He was unknowingly strangling himself by trying to look at the keyboard & type, while the keyboard cord was wrapped around his neck very snugly. And he had a huge bump on his forehead, aparently from lunging headfirst into the tub......
He remains under observation, muttering incoherently.... It appears he has not eaten, slept, or seen the light of day for quite sometime. We don't know when or if he will make it out of here. If only we could get him to speak a few logical sentences, maybe we could better help. All we can make out is "This was not the plan..... I must reach the thread..... must post again" Poor fella.

Hello,
First off I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Mrs. Kaplan. Regretfully, and as a favor to my son I've been asked to inform you that my son Steve will not be back for the remainder of the week. Without getting into detail, He wasn't seriously hurt, but is currently in the hospital due to an accident where he apparently slipped and hurt himself while he was doing some work around his condo. While it doesn't appear he was seriously hurt by the fall, His doctor would like to make certain there was no actual trauma, or signs of concussion. He'll be in the hospital for around 3 days. We have accessed this site upon Steven's request using his computer.
Mrs. Kaplan
PS.. Any of you have any info on how I can get my husband to "put out" ? The guy's a useles &^%_*^$&$)_& !!

Karyoker, I'm a little confused. You live in a multidwelling complex, or larger building, yet own a barn where you also store your equipment on some property nearby as well ? Never asked you about this..
