Yep, this is me. Except, even though I use a very limited vocabulary in real life, I like to express myself fully in writing. Some of the stuff I come off with here would really confuse a person if I was trying to make conversation casually in the real world. Alot of average people that would ever give me the time of day would think...is this guy for real? Borrrrring.
It's not like I'm a professional, college educated type who can mingle with the higher elite class and effectively blend in. This is my only form of true expression, typing in a forum. So I guess if someone ever met me for real, The impression would be... this guy is really down to earth, or... that dude is such a fake in the forum.
In real life I'm mostly honest, very forgiving, generous but needy, and easy to get along with all around. My facial expressions can be a mystery though. I too appear to be like what Steven was describing as unaffected by emotion, walking purposeful, and not very outgoing. In other words, I'm very shy, unless someone else strikes up a conversation. I have an inferiority complex. Feeling like I'm not as good as or as well thought of as most others.....Paranoid Perry.
I do try to choose my words carefully in here though as to not offend others, but we all know I get myself in jams.
My worst pet peeve is to be humiliated, but I do a well enough job of that on my own, so mostly, I'm sitting here laughing at myself wondering... why the hell did I even wake up this morning?

Yep, ALL in here know me better than my neighbors who haven't a clue who I am, what I think, or what I feel.. With the exception of local friends, I'm MUCH more open here. Yet if I were to view this as a bar with ALOT of singer's, In such a setting I'd be the same way... This is me in this particular setting. I came here to be around musicians. I got quite tired of America Online "Guitarist" rooms where members were trying to explain to me why Kurt Cobain was a Guitar God, and how their Charvel ReWlZ deWd....

Yes, it is me. I am very much just me. Kinda boring most of the time, a litle witty some of the time and when I am in the mood extremely flirty. But then that is on "paper". In person I am a horrible flirt, I can't help it, it just flows out that way. I am also accused of being TOO nice for my own good, so I am much more safe in here than I am when I go out somewhere.

In my profession I deal with clients who have many different and unusual personality traits. They either know exactly what they want or stumble into their ideas with no clue as how to proceed. That is how my personality comes across sometimes to others. I am serious and professional and it can be a "sensory overload" at times because "fun" gets thrown out the window. Striving for perfection in all aspects of life can be wearing and thus the "nutty" side comes out. I guess what I am trying to say is that if we all looked alike and acted the same, it would be a boring world.

It's not like "you weren't mentioned" for any other reason besides that ya live WAY THE HECK over yonder....... and it's not like people are gonna want to come all the way to the west coast for one of these get togethers. Would be REALLY kewl if you could though. :hi5:
well sure i would. i've got time just burnin' a hole in my pocket! actually time is at a premium right now, which would explain my abscence lately. just barely enough time to drop by post a few nonsensical ramblings, then i'm off again!

Steve, I can "loan" you some of my time......... I have PLENTY of it since I quit my last job. Actually, I could charge you a bit of interest on the time I'm "loaning" you....... then dang, my time would actually be WORTH something.
Heck, I'm gonna have to check into that..... you got wheels to spinnnin' in my head now. Somebody "pay me" ................. for my "time". Hmmmmmmm..
Or wait- I think I just QUIT one of those situations. Dang it all. Here I thought I was inventing something new.
And NOPE........ FYI....... I'm actually NOT drinking today. LOL

I do not pretend to be something I am not, in this BB, I sometime come across as something else. but that was never intentional. It may be a cultural different.
Like in real life we cannot know a person by just one aspect of that persons life and say ya I fully understand him. Or can we claim to know a person by having a conversation with him for an hour? What I am here is real, but not all aspect of me . You only see the toes.

I think that's very true. We can be ourselves in here. In here is a type of real.. Yet it's only a VERY small aspect of us interacting in a very specific setting. So this, and the 90% of who we are that isn't viewable in such a venue, is who we are

Scorpion's are dangerous, they are known as "hitchhikers". They hop rides in produce trucks from the Southwestern, central america areas up to us sometimes
