 Me too I went down to set up at the vfw  Some gal was cooking chili and steaks in the back.. I got so hungy I thought I was goona faint....

Sweetcheeks, you SO don't want your husband staying with me.....He would be ruined in three days....don't forget, we have a dance pole here....And lotsa cowgals in tight jeans who would love to meet a new face.  Send him it you want...He n I can cash in the return trip ticket for more beer and bait.

Keith, if you could seriously PROMISE me that he would NEVER want to come home........ I might, maybe, go ahead & throw his arse on a plane. (after the anniversary of course, because I do have SOME plans for that night, that I don't want to miss acting out).... That dang bondage stuff is spendy- and I want my moneys worth.

But then, let's talk......  If you really think you have a cowgirl who could keep him there. Or 3-4-5, however many it takes. Let's deal.  Though, dang, I might really start to miss that man. Hmmm. What to do- what to do??  He does know a few old tricks, and ummm, I might miss THOSE.

He'd most likely drink your beer, stomp your A$$, (questionable what he'd do with the ladies.... he may or may not have his fun with them, he is all male after all)..... but then he'd trot his butt back home. You see, he has his ways..... but he can't live without me.  He'd come home.  :D

Nope, mustard greens stains....There is the farm on the way home that is very isolated....Then there was Shannon who needed a ride home or so she claimed...We ended up in the mustard green patch....It was afterwards tho that I learned one of my buddies had her there first....Me and him are still buddies, but Shannon went on her way.

Sorry for the hi-jack...Go back to your happy 20 years together thread.

Sweetcheeks - first of all congradulations! 20 yrs - wow
I can't even bring myself to the thought of getting married.

Flippers idea sounds wonderful - it makes me want to go!

I think it will be great just to plan to do anything, even if it's a nice dinner
and a hotel room down the block. The point is your celebrating.
I wish I knew something to do that was creative, but I svck at that.

OK Charmin!  Now I know that you know very little about Portland.  But somehow you manage to know all about the Jefferson Theater?!!!  :shock:  :shock:  :shock:   Would you care to explain that one to me?  LOL

Just so you know Mona's closed down about 3-4 years ago. Maxwells has tripled in size since then. The bar used to be really small, so if you have not been there in a while it will blow you away.

Mona's was a cool place to go but she lost the place due to OLCC  (Oregon liquor control commission) Serving under age kids.  Too bad ....that place was a bomb!

MONA'S OASIS closed DOWN......... !!!!!.......... Mona was cool. We came to town with no motel reservations (didn't know about the dang kite festival), and she offered to let us sleep at the bar. But, uh, would NOT surprise me if that place had been ran illegally- not one bit. Too bad. Have to try the new Maxwell's when I go again though. TY for the info.

I used to live on Jefferson St. when I was going to Portland State University.
I had to walk past that awful den of sin almost everyday.  So there!
Thought you caught me up on something.  (Actually I may have gone there once,
just once!  But I went to church the next day).
