Um, yeah, especially if they knew you were just being a seat warmer rather than actually SINGING with us all......

By the way, you do know that's one of my new year's resolutions? To get you- be it sober or drunk off your bum- to get up and sing with me this year? I'm thinking that Beatles song I heard you do on that recording........ I liked that one. Course- NO- I wont be singing that WITH you....... I'll just stand up there & be a "decoy", hahaha.

Hmmm.  I don't know if that's a threat or encouragement!  LOL   Well, it could happen on the right night.

I have been there a couple of times over the last couple of years to sing.

Now I understand why I don't remember you.....you are using other peoples photos off of the net.

Nice crowd and decent sound system considering the glass on every wall except the bar. Boy thats a tough mix. I kept looking for the speakers and finally found them on a ledge about 15ft above the bar (really tall ceilings)

Lot's of decent singers but I don't remember any stars so you musta' been in the recording studio or on tour. Damm I always miss the big stars!

Hahaha......... please ignore my foolish ranting. Now I'm embarrased, cause I see you're from Portland, and I see by your description that you have indeed been inside the Denny's I sing at.

If you've been there over the last year a few times...... I'm sure we've atleast seen each other. Yes, that's my picture, though you'd NEVER see me out at night with my hair up like that. And, yes, my name is Charmin.

Now........ you have got me really curious as to wether or not I've seen you there. I'm kinda a Denny's regular....... one of those places where "Everybody knows my name" hahaha........ so is Don actually, though he doesn't sing.

And yes- the sound system at Denny's drives me nutso. I've been working on Paul, the owner, for over a year to knock out the wall facing the parking lot & turn that place into a true karaoke bar....... he said he'd seriously consider it, lol, and we all know what that means.    But they do draw a great crowd, usually a pretty fun crowd, and to add on to that place would be a HUGE benefit.

Let me know if/when you ever plan to be there in the future..... so I can say hello.

There is a friend of mine that lives in Canby and she was/is a regular there, her name is Crystal.  Anyway she invited my wife and I out there on occasions when I'm not working my own gigs. We usually sit at a table in front of the KJ between the bar and the booths with 8 or 10 people that she knows. Sometimes we will bring 3 or 4 with us.

I'm 6'3" about 240 and dark hair (thin on top) and a mustache. I generally sing George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis etc.

Don PM'd me regarding my local gigs and I sent him back a list so perhaps you could drop us a line when you are looking to drive into town and we could arrange to meet you guys and sing a few together.
