 I'm here too! I haven't stopped by for awhile. Been sick as H___, If you know what I mean. I got through with my show last Friday night and didn't have a voice left, I literally could not talk anymore. I went out and got a lot of that "Stuffy Head, Fever, So You Can Rest Medicine" and I've been out of touch with reality all week. Haven't left the house. I've got a show tomorrow night, guess I'll be almost back to normal by then, Whatever normal may be for me. I'll be stopping by more ofton to leave messages so y'all can get to know me better and I can get your input on all of these dramatic topics discussed here in the forum. Meanwhile, "Howdy from Georgia and here's wishing you all a wonderful day." and Don't forget to Catch the "Spirit" (That's me) :dancin:

Oh, so YOU are the one who gave me that awful stuff last weekend!!!  LOL

Yeah, as we speak, I'm getting drowsy..... haha..... god, I hate Benadryl products. I'm a wimp, even the lightest dose of something knocks me out.  But on the other hand........ I'm a pretty cheap date as well, I get drunk easy.  LOL

Hope you're on the mend as well.

I for one will be the first to admit I COULD never endure what you women have to go thru... I wasn't designed to be strong...I'm just a little prissy thing.

I agree, men are generally whimps. It's been tested & tried..... they can't handle pain as well as women can.  :D

I know Charmin.  I've never been one to believe otherwise.  I think females are better adapted to this earth, more accepting....  We just fight and burnout.

Yeah, I'm about to bail also. I tried to sing again, since my throat is a bit better. But wearing headphones REALLY kicked in my headache. It's one of those "behind the eyes" and "back of the neck" type of headaches that make ya wanna :puke:.

Unless of course anybody's up for giving a good neck massage?  :D

Okay, no  takers? Alright then, I'm gonna go have some food so I can swallow some more Ibuprofen.

The congested sinus headaches are brutal. The headaches that generate from the base of the skull, or where it aches even if you press at the top of the neck are just as bad.... Does the light from the computer monitor hurt your eyes too ?  I hate when that happens....The fever type headache, popping ears from the clogged eustacean tubes.....OY, don't get me going, I can (@$%&#!) better than any of em !

LOL..."female dog",  nice editor this place has..

Don't go pushing your voice if you have an upper respiratory infection.  That's too much....  Just put on the backing track and type...  That's what I do !

Well,  Modern medicine has come along way since the 1950's.   The baby doesn't even have to crack the shell of it's egg anymore...Used to be a time when we'd crawl out've our own egg, and find a spot on a warm rock to curl up on and bask immediately upon becoming hatchlings.  It's a whole new world today !

Yes, you gotta love the KF editor, makes little prissies out of all of us. But, hey, keeps it kid-friendly. (maybe, somewhat anyhow, on our most behaved days)

And yes, it's hard to look at the comp screen, and the light coming in the mini blinds, and my eyes are slightly closed........ oh wait, that could be cause I'm about to........ oh, nevermind.

I tend to get migraines. Not very often, but when I do, they are whammies. I don't have one now, but I do know the feeling...... this could turn into one easily. Sickness brings them on- but stress REALLY brings them on.

Do you HAVE any idea what "don't sing" means Steven? Lol, I don't just record a song every now & then for SS. I play my guitar usually daily.... if I'm not, my radio is on with some cd & I'm singing along. Or I'm tuned into SS and singing along with people. Freak, I sing with TV commercials when I'm home alone, lol, isn't THAT dorky? It's really ALL I CAN DO to not be singing on the comp. I'm restraining, I have no desire to harm my voice....... but dang, this is the worst part of being sick.  :(
