Google Earth is a fun program, A few of us from here discovered it this past fall when we were trying to get hurricane photo's from the gulf. We were concerned about a few friends, and figured this might be a way to approxiamate damage. Of course that was also when we realized based on color and make of car's that were in certain driveways that the photo's were 3+ years old and in many cases over 5 years old.... Yet few current if any...I've been around the world via google earth a few times.... Been to places you wouldn't exactly think of for your first choice in vacations... Yet it's fascinating reference none-the-less

, What breed of dog is "Banjo"? Sounds like a Saint Bernard, that'd jump on a stranger, knock them over lick their face, and they'd end up drowning in slobber

Uh, actually, he's a mix........
You know, a true ReDnEcK dog, LoL.
His ma was my Golden Lab Retriever, the pa was a neighbors' little Lassie dog. (forget the name of it........ looks just like a Lassie dog, but miniature??)
Anyhow, he has the markings & color of a Lassie dog (GOD, I feel like a tard calling it that, haha, but I can't think of the name of it at the moment)....... but he's a pretty large dog, and he has a fuller face. (like a Lab Retriever)
I'll see if I can scrounge up a pic of him- that doesn't have ME in it as well. LOL
And, no, he may chomp ya to death, but he'd never lick you to death. Well..... not true. Some people, he just likes from the beginning. He's a great dog, but he HATES people to sneak up on him. And he is good at sensing if I'm nervous- he will go bonkers on people. He's not by nature a vicious dog....... or I would not own him. I have kids- and lots of family- I wouldn't own a mean dog. He's just simply- protective.

SHELTIE............!! THAT is the name I was looking for.
But picture this look on a much bigger dog, with a more Lab shaped nose..... That would be my dog. He's really not so big I guess, just looks it cause of all that hair.
I'll get a pic sometime. I dunno where all my pic cd's are since moving. Dang, I lost everything it seems. LOL

Yep, Just read this, If your dog is cross-bred with a Sheltie it's no wonder he can be high-strung. At least from my experience Shetland's CAN be high-strung little things.. A few years back I went to a local dog show...Speaking of high-strung, ever see a miniature Pinscher that's been teased by young kids? (that were just thrown out've the dog show for teasing dogs and getting them worked up).. Those tiny breeds get VICIOUS...The eye's bulge, and they snarl bark and jump pretty high when the adrenaline get's going....I've never seen an aggravated Dobie in real, yet if those tiny miniatures are any indication of what an irate regular sized Doberman Pinscher can be like..... A person would be dead ~
Anyway, I'm google-earthing Montana Beartooth Scenic Byway... Never been outwest, some of those mountain roads just fascinate me.

I like to travel to places online I'd never have the guts to travel to in real... This is called "The worlds most dangerous road", it's a big mountain biking spot, and there are sheer drop-offs of thousands of feet... Anyone can drive on it, it's one lane, has waterfalls in places pouring on the road, and VERY frequently there are crosses or memorials where someone went off the road.... It's in Bolivia right outside of La Paz.
How many of you would have the guts to drive a bus, or truck of produce up and down that road ?

I've never been to Disney world, so while I was around plug your ears barn, I decided to check out Disney world. When you do a search for Disney, it takes you to some wooded island in the middle of a lake... Is that walt Disney's estate area, or a different resort ? Seems awfully wooded. I also saw a black surface area with Mouse ears south of that... Is that parking for Disney ? or a small airport, Helipad ? I always thought Epcot Center was "Disney world".. Is it a separate entity altogether or is it a part of Disney, and how much area is "Disney" ? Epcot seems to be abit south of the area that's actually Disney ?? In fact Epcot appears about 4 miles Southeast.. Now I also noticed it mentioned "General Motors", is Epcot owned by GM ? LOL... Hey, I've never been to the place.

Disney World is a resort, with 4 theme parks (magic kingdom, epcot, disney/mgm, animal kingdom), 2 waterparks and a ton of hotels sprawed over thousand of acres.
It is LARGE!!
I was at animal kingdom yesterday (season pass & unemployed, means I can to any of these parks daily).
Disney is its own city, with power and sewer, they don't go outside of their city to get much of anything. the have alot of political clout, you see they're mostly blurred on Google.
Boundries
HWY 535 (north) to HWY 192 (South) I-4 (east) west god only knows!

Thanks ! I've been to Dade County about 5 times (60's and early 70's) yet never the Central, Pandhandle, or Western coastal part of the state (which I hear has some really nice islands and locations). Just drove down once ages ago, yet that was entering the state via Jacksonville, stopping off at St. Augustine, went to Cape Canaveral, and then to Miami Beach.... OK, Don't laugh, it actually wasn't bad in the 1960's !!! Yet in those days, Eastern Airlines 727's were considered modern aviation tech too
